Hi. We are working on it. I hope to have news within a week. Best regards
Hi, sorry to bother you again. Is there any chance you can change the version number that is supported to include 3.11 I have just updated moodle again and it has not installed your plugin during the upgrade as moodle thinks it will only work on versions up to 2.6 which we know is not correct. If you can change the version it supports to 3.11, the next time we update it, which we do most weeks, it will install automatically. Thank you.
Please can you update the version this supports to 3.11 so that it automatically installs during an update?
and also you can download the latest version (as per 02.05.2021) from here (https://moodle.org/plugins/download.php/24159/qtype_kprime_moodle26_2021042900.zip) or directly from github master branch. looking forward to your reported issue on github issue tracker to look into it.
Hi Patrick, could you please include the error message and which version of moodle you are using here: https://github.com/ethz-let/moodle-qtype_kprime/issues
Hi there,
I've updated to the neest version of this plugin but now the questions are empty? Is there any setting or something else which needs to be done?
There was no error message during update.
Thanks
The warning "Please answer all parts of the question." only occurs when the question is submitted with no options selected, but it does not when at least one option was selected.
Please note that in Terus E-Learning's comment above the wrong path ist mentioned as it can be found in the plugin-zip. It needs to be changed to PATH="question/type/kprime/db"
For moodle 3.5, this plugin fails the validator due to a path copied and pasted form somewhere else during development. AFAIK this has only become a problem in 3.5. Easy fix, go into kprime/db/install.xml and change the path on line 2 to PATH="question/type/matrix/db"
Do you know the difference between this kprime and the matrix question type https://moodle.org/plugins/qtype_matrix ?
Hi,
At the moment there are no such plans. We would be pleased if you want to contribute smile And who knows what the future brings...
Hi,
I really like the Kprime question type. We are using it in Moodle system in our higher education institution. Our institution use Moodle 3.1 and Moodle mobile 3.1.1. In the Moodle mobile 3.1, quizzes are integrated with the mobile app. https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_Mobile_3.1.0_release_notes. However, the question type is not integrated with Moodle mobile app. When clicking into a quiz with the question type, it appears a warning message, "This quiz cannot be attempted in teh app because it has access rules not supported by the app: quizaccess_kprime".
The developer of “gapfill" question type asked about this issue in the Moodle forum. The official Moodle mobile developer has replied the forum. Generally, some development need to be done in the question type plugin side. He also provides detailed guide in the reply: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=334322
I really hope you can integrated the Kprime question type with Moodle mobile. It will also benefit a lot for other users.
Dear David and German
Thank you very much. We are happy that we finally could provide this question type the repo. If you have anything to report (request, bugs, ideas...) we are happy to hear about!
Hi,
I like this new question type.
I translated it into Mexican Spanish in AMOS and created a Moodle Docs page at https://docs.moodle.org/30/en/Kprime_question_type (linked when the user presses a 'Moodle Docs for this page'). Please feel free to add/correct this new page as needed.
Thanks for this nice question type. I think it will be useful for many undergraduate quizzes (such as my Veterinary Pathology class) .

Thanks Thomas for sharing this question type with the Moodle community. I was able to successfully test the basic functionality and found the concept really interesting and useful. There are couple of details I spotted while reviewing the code and I reported them into your tracker. I am happy to approve this now. Please note you may want to submit your existing German language pack via lang.moodle.org so that it is not accidentally translated again.

You are cleared to land, welcome to the Plugins directory!
