Mabel sensei, The theme has a setting where you can add any extra CSS code. Use it to customize your site.
Hi.. Thank you for the great theme. It's quite good and modern. We only have one issue with the theme. Only inside the Turnitin activity, the user profile and settings menu icons appear as empty squares (I have the screenshots but there's no place to attach them here). Icons are working fine in other parts of Moodle. The issue only appears inside Turnitin activities.
Please note that we have tested the default Moodle theme, and the icons appear correctly.
When I checked the console logs for that page, I found the error: https://path_to_our_site/theme/image.php/moove/core/1641198002/i/emojicategorysmileysemotion AND https://path_to_our_site/theme/image.php/theme/image.php/moove/core/1641198002/i/emojicategorysmileysemotion not found. It seems that this is the root of the issue.
Can you please help us with this?
Thank you
Hi, I want to use Moove Theme, however eveytime I try to customize, I have this problem that I cannot resize the login page header image. I find it too big, and I want to make it shorter in height. How can I do that, cause it's seems there's a preset size. Can I override that? Thanks!
hello,
on the home page, is it possible to display the courses sorted by current course, past course, upcoming course?
Tkanks
Good day. We use this theme at our university. Many of our users have a question about the button "Scroll to top", that will be added? it is necessary for large courses. Maybe someone tell me how to add it yourself for this particular theme. I wrote a similar script myself for themes that do not have sliding panels, but for Moove I can't adapte it. I hope the community has some advice on this.
Hi Dave !
I tried some options like this, and it's just showing what I want. but if you click on the course, after you still have the possibility to see the others by clicking "more". I
I'd like to have a real border between the frontpage (w/o login) and just one course that visitors could see. And the rest that people logged in could see.
Hi, this theme goes in conflict with the Shibboleth authentication. Even though I disabled the login block on the front page, the login window still shows the username and password login area when clicking the Login menu on the upper right corner of the page. Moreover, the shibboleth button disappeared when disabling the login block on the front page. When the username and the password are inputted, it can correctly direct the user to the shibboleth authentication page; but it asks for the username and the password again. It means for each login session, the user will need to type their account information twice.
Alexis - I have achieved what you have described by making sure that the course or courses that I want visible appear at the top of the top most categories, you then go to:
yourmoodleurl/admin/settings.php?section=frontpagesettings and you have the option to show 'maximum number of courses' - if you set this to however many you want, then that number will be shown on the frotnpage.
Hi Willian !
First, thanks for the plugin theme, it's really good.
No problem for me for using, just a question/suggestion :
do you think it would come later a possibility to personnalize the frontpage with just the course we chose. So we could show kind of a catalogue for visitors ?
Instead of "available courses" you would have "catalogue" and a small description and preview of the course.
(or is there this in the premium ?)
Have a good day and thanks again.
Hey guys, sorry my disappearing from here. I was focusing in some extra jobs, I need to get some money, unfortunately Moove doesn't pay my debts.
Good news, I already started to work on Moove for Moodle 4.0, so we will be one of the early bird plugins for Moodle 4.0.
I will take a look on all issues you reported, but please, the right place to report issues is on github and you can also contribute, solve the issue and send to us.
Sali, when I use boost everything works. Actually I am changing to boost to edit.
Yes, the course end date. Does it work for you if you change the theme to Boost?
Sali, with me it does not word. I suppose you are talking about course end date.
Hi Marcelo, we had the same issue and it drove us nuts. Changing the end date to sometime in the future fixes the issue. At least it did for us.
Situation: I edit a quiz and put some questions in it, then I return to the course page. If I try to edit the quiz I am not able to insert new questions because the config icon to edit quiz is not present. Each time I have to change the course theme to do that. That happened after my latest update of Moodle still in version 3.11.
