I'm using Moove and I'm not sure if it's moodle or Moove, but when we open the chat window, the text field is ALWAYS pushed off the bottom of the screen a bit, cutting the bottom 1/4 of the whole strip off. It still works, but it's annoying and doesn't look good. It appears that the "top:xxx" inline css is being auto generated, so I can't just use css to fix it. Any idea if this is from moove or the core code?
(Oh, I managed to fix #1 for myself. So I just need to figure out #2 and #3. Also, I noticed that when I login on a mobile device--again, iPhone 7--, I love how the vertical labelbar on the left side looks, but it covers up some of the page a little, which cuts off a little bit of the left side of every page. Is there something that could be done to fix this, since many of our students are on mobile? Thank you so very much, Willian! smile )
Hello Willian! I absolutely love this template! smile
I just have a couple of questions:
(1) I am trying to change the background images from here (/theme/image.php/moove/theme/1515441616/login_bg) and here (/theme/image.php/moove/theme/1515441616/footer-bg). I tried to replace these files in the "theme/moove/pix" folder, but it doesn't seem to work. How can I change these images?
(2) Where do I go to change the color of the "disk usage," "total users," "total courses," "online users" blocks (and maybe even the calendar colors)?
(3) And finally, when I visit my website on mobile (iPhone 7), the Banner Heading and Banner Content are aligned sort of strangely (see here --> www.miss.moe/training/). Is there a way to fix that?
Thank you so much again for all your amazing work!
Hey Guillermo, you can customize your footer changing the file templates/footer.mustache
Hi William, I don't know where to change the footer colour in the platform, and I need to remove some icons on the footer also, but I don't find the file to do it. Can you help me?
Hi Willian, just to say you that this theme is great! I think I will use it with my clients.
The only point for me to take into consideration is the responsive mode (most of my clients use tablets for the courses), but as you said, it is the next step to work towards a fully responsive theme. I am not a developer, but I was playing around with a bit of CSS - with some simple coding it turns into a responsive theme.
I don't know a lot about CSS so it is difficult for me to find the ids for some media queries. For instance, the hamburger-toggle disappears when width smaller than aprox. 1000px. I think would be great to display it at any width and hide the navigation menu in tablets/mobile resolution and just open it once is needed pressing the toggle. Not sure if I am explaining myself correctly… Anyways, obrigado!
Hi Ivan Alamo, You can hide and show the blocks by clicking on the PLUS icon on the right side. But you need add some blocks inside the page. The button olly appears if you have blocks in the current page.
Hi William, is there any way to show blocks bar (on the right part of the screen)? Kind regards.
Scott Li, Not yet, but there is a plugin to do it. About the my courses, this is not an issue, not a plugin issue. This is the moodle default navigation. I only made some customizations.
Found another issue, not sure if this happens to others, 'My courses' doesn't bring me nowhere, not working.
Is there a way to customize what is included in the navigation area?
Great work! Thanks! I found the site pages is missing, why? Can we add it back or is there other way around to get to the participants page?
Hi @Patrick Schaerer, i solved that issue on the last version. Please update your theme.
I really like the look of this theme, but I have a little issue.
On the startpage there is the login-window, which is really nice to have there. But when I try to login with google oauth, I get the error "A required parameter (sesskey) was missing".
When I login without google it works fine. When I login with google on the login-page it works fine as well.
How can I fix that?
or if that is not possible how can I remove the login-window on the start page.
I have noticed one UI issue. On Calendar main page when we hide any event then the numbers are not visible in the calendar(which on left hand side block)
