When I view the questionnaire using Moodle Mobile, it says that this plugin does not support it. Can you please confirm?
Hi Anatoly. I have created CONTRIB-6642 to deal with this.
Hello!
I noticed that after upgrade to 3.2 sending of messages to non-respondents stopped working. It fails to save students selected as recipients - after pressing Send page reloads, no one is selected and message 'no users selected' is displayed. Seems like upgrade to 3.2 messed with passing ids of selected students to send method
Hi.
Is there any way to export the results in pdf format?
If not, could it be contemplated for future updates?
Thanks.
Hi, I want to ask about Questionnaire anonimity. I'm using moodle 3.1.2 and I have created many anonymous questionnaires as survey for our courses. The questionnaires are anonymous, and the students can see their answers after completion. They tell me that the answers collection is not based on answer order but in alphabetical order: the final report not shows the names, but the answers are collected based on the students alphabetical order. This break the anonymity. It is true? It is possible to fix? Many thanks.
I upgraded the past weekend from 2.8 to 3.1. And since then all images are unavailable in any of the question types. When I edit the question, the image displays, but when I view, the images are gone. I went to through the forums and it seemed to be a problem in some of the earlier versions caused by add_slashes, but apparently it was fixed. I cannot figure out what is causing the problem now.
Hi Mike. Many thanks for providing this plugin to the community; its functionality is really appreciated by our staff and students, and we’re really grateful to you for your efforts to maintain and update it.
On that note, please could I quickly query whether you have any plans to update the plugin to be fully compatible with Moodle v3.1, and its new Global Search feature in particular? To clarify: while we’ve tested the Questionnaire plugin under v3.1 and all of the core functionality seems to work fine, we’ve found that instances of the activity are not searchable via v3.1’s Global Search feature. Please see the following screenshot for details, which lists all of the available areas that can searched under v3.1 (note that these settings are available via: Site Administration -> Plugins -> Search -> Manage Global Search):
http://imgur.com/lWWQByE
Note also that the above screenshot was taken on a v3.1 system where the Questionnaire plugin is installed and available. However, as you can see, the Questionnaire activity is not listed as being available to be searched. Obviously, this is likely to be a significant problem/cause of confusion for users who might want to search for specific instances of the Questionnaire activity across Moodle.
I’m not a developer, but my understanding is that mod plugins can be made searchable relatively easily via the addition of a new search class within the plugin’s codebase (located at ../classes/search/activity.php). Please see the following for further details:
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=334938
https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Global_search
https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Search_API
We really hope this search capability can be added to Questionnaire as I’m sure it would be a huge benefit to our users (as well as those of other v3.1 systems) and, again, many thanks for all your efforts to develop this plugin and share it with the community.
Best wishes,
Lina
Is this the same as the issue reported here - https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/CONTRIB-5940 ?
Hello,
The latest version (3.1) of this plugin having a bug with Moodle 3.1 while uploading image in editor, it displays in editor but not in question view page. It seems image get saved in draft area only, not in question filearea, due to that images are missing from question content. Do you have any fix for it?
Hello Mike and respective developers of the mod questionnaire
I would like to ask if you have any plan for developing the mod for moodle mobile? I think that would be the awesome contribution since mobile apps will have much more interactions abilities. Thank you very much and hope you have plans for future developments of the mod.
I have just released "Release 3.0.1 (Build - 2016051100)" which should contain all of the fixes you mentioned.
Hi Josiah. I haven't released a new 3.0 version to the plugins database yet. It is just in Github. Having said that, I'll release one today, since I don't think we'll be doing any more work on the 3.0 branch unless new bugs come up.
Regarding the issue of the questionnaire plugin breaking moodle when running under PHP7, I am confused about the versioning and how to upgrade my installation.
The version I have currently installed is Questionnaire 3.0.0 (Build - 2015102800) - that fails under PHP7.
The page for CONTRIB-6069 says that the fixed branches are MOODLE_30_STABLE, MOODLE_31_STABLE . But the plugin version is still 2015102800. And within Moodle itself, there is no indication of an updated version of the plugin.
So for us non-developers who really, really want the PHP7 benefits and need the fixed version of the questionnaire plugin, has a release date been set for the new version?
Hi. This was fixed in issue CONTRIB-6069.
Hi Mike !
