Dictate
This plugin extends the new TinyMCE editor introduced in Moodle 4.1 by adding the ability to speak to type using the browsers Speech Recognition capabilities (in supported browsers).

Uses the browsers lanauge.
Usage
Make sure the plugin is enabled under Site administration > Plugins > Text editors > TinyMCE editor > Dicate.
Toggle dictation on, grant microphone permissions if you have to, and start speaking.
Installation
Choose one of the following installation methods:
Installation via ZIP file
- Log in to your Moodle site as an administrator and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins.
- Upload the ZIP file containing the plugin code. You should only be prompted to add extra details if your plugin type is not automatically detected.
- Check the plugin validation report and finish the installation.
Installing manually
- You can also install the plugin by copying the contents of this directory to
{your/moodle/dirroot}/lib/editor/tiny/plugins/dictate
- Afterwards, log in to your Moodle site as an administrator and go to Site administration > Notifications to complete the installation.
- Alternatively, run the following command in the Moodle root directory:
$ php admin/cli/upgrade.php
System Requirements and Dependencies
This plugin has so far only been tested on Moodle 5.1.
Known limitations
The Plugin only works with the 'TinyMCE editor'.
It does not work with the 'Atto HTML editor' or the 'Plain text area'.
