Just to confirm, this plugin works in Moodle 3.4. Like Margaret, I missed checking the box for Auth plugins. Bas, thanks for this plugin! :D

Hi and thanks for the plugin! Some minor feedback: because the checkboxes for "Auth plugins" are right at the top under "Enable user messages" I originally skipped them because I was only interested in "Enable moderator messages". You might consider visually separating the settings into 3 parts: General Settings, User Message Settings, Moderator Message Settings. Also a pop-up clarifying that the 'moderator' can be anyone you want would be helpful --- I was expecting it to say "Admin messages" and had to look it up to realize it could be anyone you specify in the email. Hi Bas! Thanks for sharing this plugin with such an important feature!
The version of my moodle is 3.3.2+. I've installed this plugin but I never got the e-mail (I've tryied creating accounts manualy and by e-mail). I got all system e-mails correctely.
I was wondering that is would be a problem about my version, but I just saw that Rajendra Prasad (comment above) got same problem using a compatible version.
So my question for you: is it a version problem, plugin bug or am I doing something wrong?

I'm going to repeat my "wishlist" item from October, 2014: Filter who the message goes to. I'm probably asking WAY too much, but I'd like to send it only to teachers at our school (xxx@ourschool.com) and not students (xxx@student.outschool.com) OR send different messages to the two groups.
