Great Plugin! ..but how does it work? ..documentation is missing..
There is a field "Block content for a role:"
I tried to write "Student" with the branches, without, wit a capital letter, without.. but no success..

the block doesn't working on moodle 2.4.2+ (Build: 20130315), it now show the contents to any user...
