sorry for my english
@Dr. Indira Koneru
Try the latest version from github, where this problem has been fixed.
As a teacher, tested scheduler in 2.6. Whenever I click the scheduler added to my course page, I get a blank page . I'm able to see the slots scheduled and tabs for adding and deleting slots when my course page is on editing mode! No issues in 2.5.
Thanks very much. I'll pass that on to our 'Moodle Service Provider'. This small change will make a big difference for us.
@Steven Malikowski
For the number of slots available, there's now a global configuration setting (scheduler_maxstudentsperslot). The default is 9 but you can increase this if you wish. This is available in the MOODLE_23_STABLE and MOODLE_25_STABLE branches. For Moodle 2.4, you would use the MOODLE_23_STABLE branch.
We use your scheduler very much at the University of London, but we noticed that the number of slots available was reduced from 24 (in Moodle 1.9) to 9 (in Moodle 2.n). We've made many attempts to work with the limit of 9, like using multiple schedulers and setting the limit to infinity. Unfortunately, for our use, these solutions create as many problems as they solve. Could the max number of slots be returned to 24 again? Since we use the scheduler a lot, it would really help us out.
One challenge we're facing is that we're in the process of upgrading to Moodle 2.4. We use an external 'Moodle Service Provider' to host Moodle for us, which is the University of London Computing Centre, so I also hope the change I'm hoping for can apply to Moodle 2.4. Thanks for any help you can provide.
@Thomas Robb: The e-mail notifications work for me in 2.5. However, they need to be enabled on a per-activity basis. In the Scheduler settings, have you set the field "Notifications" to "Yes"?
We have installed Scheduler 2.5 on Moodle 2.5.1. While email from a Forums go out as expected, no messages are being sent out when reservations are made or cancelled. Since mail on the site seems to be working normally, it looks like there is something wrong with the code. Can anyone shed some light on this? As anyone experienced the same problem?
...just to say that the Moodle 2.5 version has now been released.
Note, I have just released a maintenance upgrade 2.3.1 for Moodle 2.3 and 2.4. This can be used with some caveats for Moodle 2.5 as well (a few icons will not be displayed). A Moodle 2.5 version will follow later, within a month from now I hope.
@Sheilla Norton, thanks, I've now fixed the bug (even if late) for the next release.
@Sue Moss: Yes, we noticed that problem too. I have now added a global configuration setting that limits the size of this list. (Currently in master branch, to be released with the 2.5 version.)
I'm planning to add Moodle 2.5 support over the next month or so - we're migrating our Moodle installation to 2.5 in September. Meanwhile, you might just try to run the current version of Scheduler in Moodle 2.5.
I would also like to ask when you plan to add Moodle 2.5 support.
I see Tyler asked about this two month ago..
Moodle 2.5 support?
