I've been using for a couple of years on the "Dashboard" page as a weekly challenge question. I love it. I was wondering though if there is any way that the question text box could be an html editor so that I could enter an image with the question. I've got around this by putting an HTML block right above the poll block and referring to an image in that block but I would love to take out this step.
Thanks for the quick fix Adam. Seems to be working fine now.
Hi AL Rachels,
I've just uploaded a new version that has a fix for the 1px wide bug. Let me know if you run into any issues.
Cheers!
Has anyone else tried to use the Poll block in Moodle 2.9 yet? The setting for maxwidth in file block_poll.php in public function poll_print_results seems to be broken and all the bars get drawn as only 1 pixel wide.
The blocks folder.
What folder is this installed in?
Thanks.
When it will fit the moodle 2.8?
Hi all,
An updated version that works with 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 is now available.
German Valero: Thanks for the documentation, I've added it as the the documentation for this plugin smile
Hi Adam,
Will there be an update for Moodle 2.6?
Thanks!
Is there any update for 2.6? Thanks!
Hi Adam,
I like this block a lot.
I just wrote a Documentation page for this plugin at http://docs.moodle.org/25/en/Poll_block
Please feel free to add or correct as needed.

Thanks Adam. In reviewing the block there were a number of small things but one is that since the code is listed as being for Moodle 2.4 there is an error about the addinstance method not being specified and this causes some errors that may keep folks from using the block. In addition, please provide the source code, tracker, and documentation URLS and in the documentation specify how poll is different from choice (advantages and disadvantages). Finally make sure that the zip file passes the validation check. If you have questions just let me know. Peace - Anthony
It's a block that was made back in 2007.

It doesn't use choice code, the block is designed to be addable anywhere in moodle, including mymoodle, something mod_choice can't do.
Hi,
how is this different from mod_choice ? Does this pick up from mod_choice or does this reimplement polls?
I'm not sure i understand the different between this and http://docs.moodle.org/24/en/Choice_module
