Face-to-face activities are used to keep track of in-person (e.g. classroom) trainings which require advance booking. Each activity is offered in one or more identical sessions. These sessions can be given over multiple days. Reminder messages are sent to users and their managers a few days before the session is scheduled to start. Confirmation messages are sent when users sign-up for a session or cancel. This module may be of interest to administrators looking for a way to provide event management support for blended learning environments.

Hello Stacy,
I'm having an issue with F to F events not appearing on the Calendar. It appears to be random. I'm using a course for students to sign up for a series of in-person sessions. I have 29 F to F instances, each with 3 sessions to choose from. (overload maybe?)
The Calendar display settings for each instance is set for “Course”, so all available sessions show on the Calendar in (Orange), and Sessions that the student “signed-up” for are in (Blue) (viewing as a student). However, not every session that is signed-up for is showing up on the Calendar. The orange, available sessions are there but the blue (signed up for) are inconsistent. In admin view, I can see that the student is signed up - in the respective session's “attendees” list but “some” of the event’s they are signed up for are not appearing.
The settings are identical in all instances. I really need to get this ironed out, do you have any idea why this is happening? Anywhere within the moodle I can look to determine the cause?
Thanks!
Mark
Hi Stacey,
We would like to use facetoface but we are using Moodle 2.8.1 and there are errors during the installation. So I am wandering if/when you are planning to update the plugin? We would really appreciate it.
Hi, I am having a issue with the reminders pulling over the incorrect information and ical not working. We are Moodle 2.5 / Outlook 2010 /plug in version 2014022700. Getting a bit desperat esad
Hello, could anybody help me to how to set up location, venue and room when I would like to set up session in face-to-face activity?
James, I have the same question. Will it work with 2.7??
Hi, I was wondering if this plugin would be made to work on 2.7 at all? Im really keen to try it out.
I've setup face to face ver 2.6 on a 2.7 site and have not yet picked up any errors.
What is the extra code in the renderer.php that John Papworth refers to ?
Is there a way to remove face to face entries from the calendar and upcoming events? We use it in a hospital and the calendar gets overloaded with face to face entries.
Has anyone put the extra code in the renderer.php in 2.7? I am desperate for this.
TIA
Like Mouza Mouza I would like to know if there is a 2.7 version or if the current version works good with 2.7. Thanks! smile
sorry forgot to mention I am working with moodle 2.5
can anyone help me please - I have downloaded the facetoface module but I can only get the admin and "staff" to view this - the students don't see anything. I have checked the permissions. now I do not know what to do. Any help would be appreciated please. sarah x
amazing tool smile , i'm wondering if there is a new release that compatible to 2.7?
I know with 2.3 and 2.5 the showing sessions on the front page didn't work and required extra code in render php in core (?) to get it to display. Has this been resolved in 2.6?
I have the same question as Paul: is a version planned for 2.6? I have just read about the Face-face plugin here: http://www.lambdasolutions.net/blog/2014/01/moodle-face-face-plugin/ I'd like to see if it could be used as a room booking system.
