The plugin helps Moodle course calendars work better with people’s personal and/or shared calendars.
When a teacher or administrator creates, changes, or deletes a course or group event in Moodle, the plugin automatically keeps the right people informed through calendar invitations. Students, group members, and the event organizer can receive calendar updates that work with tools like Outlook, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and similar apps.
It offers two main ways to do this:
It also reacts when people are added to or removed from a course or group. For example, if a student is enrolled in a course that already has calendar events, or removed from a group, the calendar attendee list can be updated automatically.
The main benefit is that Moodle events do not stay hidden inside Moodle. They can appear in the calendars people already use, with updates, cancellations, attendees, locations, and event details kept in sync.
