This is an excellent and detailed description of the GeoGebra question type plugin and its capabilities. Mahadev Book
Hi,
will the plugin still be developed for higher Moodle versions such as 4.5 or 5.0?

Hi, we will keep this plugin maintained. Unfortunately, we currently do not have the resources to continue the development. We are planning to do a more or less full rework of the plugin, but have not had the resources to do so yet. So this plugin is currently in a kind of stale state where we will apply necessary fixes for it to keep working until we at some point hope to be able to do the full rework.
Hello everyone,
will the plugin still be developed for higher Moodle versions or will the development end with Moodle 4.1?
Many thanks
I am using the GeoGebra type question and an error is displayed when reviewing the question and marking it as not complete: "Answer is missing. JavaScript is probably not enabled in the browser, or perhaps an unknown error occurred."
I wonder if anyone else has gone through it?
News: I decided to look for the original code on GitHub. I figured that would be the best place to get the most up-to-date code. I found it there, downloaded it as a ZIP, unpacked it, changed the name of the inner folder to "geogebra", repacked it, installed the new ZIP file ... and this time it worked!
Unfortunately, the problem persists as of today. When I try to "install" the update, it says it is already installed. I tried downloading the zip and installing it that way. When I install from the ZIP, it validates and says it can continue. I click continue and it takes me straight to the notifications page. It never gives the option to upgrade the database.
Please updated the Files - there is no currently 1.11.2 on moodle.org !
Only 1.11.1 Files
Hi! I have just downloaded file "qtype_geogebra_moodle311_2021100500.zip" , it is noted that it should be release 1.11.2 , I unpacked it, but inside in file version.php I saw:
$plugin->version = 2021062500;
$plugin->release = '1.11.1';
So there is maybe some error in versions or file to download is old.
Just to second Paula Caso's comment, we're running 3.11.3 (Build 20210913) and are getting the same behaviour that the plugin has an update available, but the Upgrade Database stage never kicks in.
I have Moodle 3.11 installed and has been running great. I have done multiple updates of plugins, but this one doesn't seem to complete the process. It installs the code for the q-type, but it never gets to the page to update the database. It goes to the notifications page which says there is an update available. When I check, it shows the geogebra q-type needs to be updated. However, if I try to update from a zip, it says the update is already installed. I checked the code on the server and it did in fact install the updated code. It just never got to the point of updating the database... hence the inconsistency.
Is this an issue on my machine or is there something glitchy with the upgrade.php file in the db folder? I don't know php well enough to tell.
Hola. ¿Alguien esta trabajando con este plug? Yo estoy utilizando este plug en Moodle 3.11 y 3.10, pero no consigo que funcione de manera correcta.
Saludos.
I'm hoping for this very useful plugin to be available for Moodle 3.10
Hello,
do you intend an updated version for Moodle 3.9?
It is a very useful Plugin.
Best regards
