@Diane Soini: I would be interested to test the pre-3.2 version of this plugin. Can you share the copy please?
Hi Leyun,
I work for the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have modified the pre-3.2 version of this plugin so that it:
1. Records user points separately per module instance.
2. Settings available: user points values, anonymizing user names, showing/hiding user scores, disabling/enabling voting or just downvotes on questions or answers.
3. Uses mysqli.
4. Exports user points and whether they participated as a CSV file so that instructors can manually grade the activity.
As you can expect, the modifications are pretty extensive. If you would like a copy of this, I can make it available to you.
Diane
Hi Ricardo:
as Question2Answer only supports MySQL so far, and I can't find any information about when they will make it compatible with PostgreSQL, I don’t think we will have an update for PostgreSQL in the near future. Sorry for that.
Hi
Any estimate on when we can expect the update that supports PostgreSQL?
The plugin now uses MySQLi and supports Moodle 3.2
This is a exactly what I'm looking for to use in our community forums.
Any chance to get a version for Moodle 3.2 that work with MySQLi?
You would make a lot of people happy if there was such a version soon smile
answer my questions
how to make that guest could not answer?

how to change the template?

Why is the question of only one person can answer? (The rest can only komentirovat)
Hi Leyun,
Any estimate on when we can expect the update that supports mysqli?
Hi Leyun,
That's what I was looking for! Thank you.
Do you plan to extend functionality?
It'll be great if you add some base q2a features:
- search elements by keyword
- delete (not hide) elements
- moodle avatars in users rating
- categories!
- number of questions views
- tags managment
Big thanks again for that project!
Hi Leyun,
Is this nice plugin fully compatible with 3.1?
Thanks
Thank you David. We are going to add support for the mysqli extension in the next update.
