@Angela, in future please don't use the Moodle.org site to ask for Totara support - Totara has it's own forums. Please also make sure you are using an up to date version of the code (Totara doesn't have a plugins db, so you should be using code from github.) - thanks!

Wer would like to use the plugin with Totara 12 and higher. We found a bug in the php that causes a fail delay of the scheduled task - the plugin refers the wrong table to link the learner with the manager. It tries to find pos_assignment which is not the correct one. Since Totara 11, the correct table is job_assignment. It would be helpful if you could provide us with a plugin version that works, especially as Catalyst IT as Totara partner is maintaining this plugin as well. Many thanks.

@Cameron it's saying that your cron process isn't running regularly enough. Lots of info on cron here: https://docs.moodle.org/en/Cron and if you're having trouble there, best to ask for help in the community forums - good luck!

So, this is a half this plugin/half cron question. I installed, am going to add one activity per module/course so that the users get an email a day before their access to the course ends. The settings for this I think I've got. I used easycron to set up a cron job (crappy host + OMG COMMAND LINE IS TEH SCARY = simplest way possible please). I've got it set to execute every minute. When I save I get an error that says "La tâche planifiée de Réengagement n'a pas été exécutée depuis au moins 60 min. Cron doit être configuré pour permettre à Réengagement de fonctionner correctement." VERY ROUGH TRANSLATION: "The planned task Reengagement has not been executed in at least 60 minutes. Cron needs to eye configured to allow Reengagement to function properly".
What have I got wrong here?

@Chelsy I think most of the time in the cron is spent working out who's ready to start the reengagement. This could be vastly improved by listening to course enrolment events, and activity completion events, and starting the reengagement timers based off that. Let us know if you'd like to engage commercial support to implement this feature, or file a pull request if you're so inclined.

As no: of users, courses and reengagement activity increases, rengagement cron is taking 1,2,3 hrs to run.
How can we resolve this?

@Pedro - Yes, by default the timer starts on the individual users enrolment date - see https://docs.moodle.org/38/en/Reengagement_activity#Access_Restrictions for more details.

HI Dan, excellent plugin, I got Moodle 3.6, our courses are rolling intake, it means, I have students starting every 2 weeks. As there is no due date, is there a way I can set up the reminder to send an email 2 weeks after the student has been grant access to the course. and 4 weeks after, if the students haven't completed the course?

@Lukas - we're not aware of any issues with running the latest version in 3.8 - if you run into any issues using it in 2.8 please let us know by reporting bugs to the github tracker. The reason we haven't flagged it as being compatible with 3.8 is that we haven't tested it on 3.8 ourselves yet.

Hello everyone!
Is the current Version of Reengagement compatible with Moodle 3.8? In the respective section it says, that it is only compatible up to 3.7. If that is correct, can we expect an update of the plugin in the near future?

@carlos - best to look at the documentation page linked above, which shows some examples of how to set it up - start by following some of those examples.
