Interactive Content – H5P

Interactive videos. I am looking into integrating a voice recognition exercise such as speak the words activity. I cannot find any information online regarding this. Is this even possible?

Hi Reinier, we'll need some more information to help you. Please post your support request at https://github.com/h5p/moodle-mod_hvp/issues and include whether this is a new install or an upgrade, how to reproduce the issue, what version of mod_hvp you use and any php errors from your logs.

I already installed in my moodle 4 but i can't install h5p's contents. why?

Have installed this H5P plugin to two of my moodle sites. As an administrator working on a course, when adding a content type via this plugin I cannot save. Eg. Add an activity or resource > H5P Interactive Content > choose H5P content type > Get > Install > no use button appears, cannot save page. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening?

I'm a little confused - how is this different from the H5P activities / plugins that are part of Moodle 4 core?

I'm not sure if the differences between this plugin and the integration in Moodle core (4.0+) might be. Perhaps this question has been raised in earlier posts but I suspect it will be a common one. Eventually I found two posts that address this question one. One in the Moodle forums - https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=408251 - and one in the HP5 forums - https://h5p.org/moodle-plugin-vs-moodle-core-vs-h5p-com . Would it be helpful to provide the links to one or both of these discussions in this plugin's description above? Not much seems to be said post Moodle 4.0+ so perhaps these discussions are a little dated. Peace - Anthony

Video in H5P auto plays in Firefox 102.0 but not in Edge Version 103.0.5060.114 or Chrome. If we refresh the page the video is on, then we can play it by clicking on the play button. I have asked a similar question at h5p's site as well. the version of moodle 3.11 and h5p version 1.22.4. - is their paid support for h5p by chance? Thanks

Hi, the format for .h5p content is the same for the H5P plugin and the Moodle Core integration of the plugin, but they don't share the same data source, they will store the H5P content in different places. If you upgrade to Moodle 4 you can continue to use the plugin, it has been tested with Moodle 4. You can also use the H5P plugin and the Moodle integration in parallells, but if you need to transfer content between the systems you will have to download from one system and upload to the other or build some migration script for it.

We are currently using this plugin in Moodle 3.8, if we upgrade to Moodle 4 that already have built in h5p feature, does our data reflects automatically on Moodle 4 or we have to use both H5P plugin and built in h5p feature in parallels?

Hi Matt and Eric, we are currently testing the integration with Moodle 4, we will let you know when we have finished testing the integration and fixed any issues we find.

Hi, just to reiterate the questions about Moodle 4.0. I really don't like the Moodle Core H5P implementation.

Plugin installed on moodle 3.8. but i can't add any component to a H5P activity, it still in the message "Loading, please wait", some body have experienced this issue please?
