Hi David and Carlos
It is possible to insert the custom fields defined in the groups?
Thank you
Dear David, I just upgrade my moodle to version 5.0.3+. Unfortunately the plugin doesn't work: I can see the issued certificates but once I try to open them then there is an error. Apparently there is already a post on your page in github. Please help to make it compatible. Thanks. Andrea
Hello, How I can add field in Custom fields selector? I need used Start of course date and Finished course date. Thanks in advanced
Simple Certificate seems to be working with Moodle 5. Thank you.
Is there any forecast to include a search query by name in the batch option?
I have a very long name for my course. How can I split that long name {COURSENAME} or must I rather type it in? It is printed across the long name across the face of the A4 size. Must I make the sizes smaller?
Please do not report errors on this page, only on https://github.com/bozoh/moodle-mod_simplecertificate/issues
Gracias
I just tested it on 4.5 and it seems to be working.
Looks like there is an updated version on GitHub. I tested it now on 4.4.5 and it seems to work. Will Test on my Test site with 4.5
The certificate is not compatible with Moodle 4.4 or 4.5. It was not upgraded.
On the lastest version, I get the following error when I make any change to the settings of the certificate:
-----------------------------------------------------
Exception - mysqli::real_escape_string(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given
More information about this error (When I select the link I get the following:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
error/moodle/generalexceptionmessage
Jump to:navigation, search
A general error occurred (sorry we can't be more helpful here!)
You could try copying the text that was shown and doing a web search with it.
In Moodle 4.x this error might be caused by trying to use a 'draft' question in a quiz. Check the question bank!

I am just trying to fix a spelling error on the Certificate details printed on the certificate.
Hello David, I was wondering if there is a way that the zip folder download the certificates with the students name. Please let me know if there is a way changing the code or something, thank you
Thank you David for taking over the plugin. I have been using it for years. It's the best certificate plugin on Moodle. BTW, there are some issues in using the latest 4.1 with 4.4. This is the message that I get: Exception - Failed opening required '[dirroot]/lib/horde/framework/Horde/Support/Uuid.php' (include_path='[dirroot]/lib/pear:.:/opt/alt/php81/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php81/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php')
I add David Herney to github repo too.
I don't have too much time anymore to maintaing this plugin.
I try to get some support from community, but without success. Good Lucky David Herney
