Hi Sarah, thanks for the feedback. Access is tied to moodle/course:update, and that's an oversight on my part. We'll release a new version shortly which implements a specific permission.

This plugin is a great help, and very easy to use!
Can anyone tell me if the ability to access it is tied to a particular permission, or set of permissions? I seem to be able to see it in a number or roles that are not actually Site Administrators. I would like to be able to control who is able to access it, but haven't found a specific permission to edit. Thank you!

Instructions for use: In the courses browser, click the gear icon next to a category and select "Edit" to modify that category. After you're in edit mode for the category, look for "Set course dates" in the administration block on the left.
