Hi Willian, after we applied the latest version to our production setup, we discovered a nasty bug. This is not 100% confirmed as this is the cause, but it seems that if a person has more than 10 courses enrollments, it cannot login to the Moodle. Gives this error:
Debug info: ORA-01722: invalid number
SELECT * FROM m_course WHERE id = :o_id
[array (
'o_id' => 'courseindexpage',
)]
Error code: dmlreadexception

We checked and if we downgrade to the latest 3.9 version, which was what we had installed previous, everything works fine. So it must be something in the latest version (3.11)
Thank you.
Hello Willian,
Thank you so much for you theme, which I've been using for several months now and is really great !
Since the last update, the "my courses root node" is visible in the drawer (that's quite nice :D), but its' language can't be changed. My site is in french, and with other themes (boost/academi) the language does change, but not with the Moove Theme.
Do you have any clue about how to correct this ?
Again, thank you so much for your work !
HI!
After updating theme to the latest version, a problem appeared: the "Certificates" menu in the left panel disappeared. Can't find it anywhere.
We use the "user certificate" functionality, and this is important for us. Who faced the same or can suggest? How to return a menu section? I will be immensely grateful!
Ivan Gjorgjievski a solution is to log off your guest users, but I don't know how you can do it.
Willian, hi and thanks for the answer. True, only first time users are seeing the page. But I have set some site pages which have enabled guest access. Afterwards, returning to the site home, or the front page displays only a block set separately from the moove frontpage settings. I would love to be able to have my visitors come back to the frontpage set in moove. Can you direct me towards a solution?
Anything helps basicaly!
Ivan Gjorgjievski the front page is visible for guest users, I think in some time your user makes login, maybe guest login, and then the front page is not displayed anymore.
Hi Helder Pereira, thank you for report this problem and for your collaboration. Feel free to report anything else or suggest any new features.
Hello Willian, I was going to ask your help because I tracked the problem to what I think was the "mycourses" data-set. And I could only find the attribution to that data set on the lib.php file, so I was going to ask if I made a cycle trough that data-set and remove the ones with end date passed current date, etc. would be ok as a solution.
But you anticipated so, I tested the new version as you asked and I can confirm it works flawlessly. I can only say thank you very much because this was a annoying problem on our installation because, has I said, we have many students with lots of course enrollments.
Me and my boss made a small contribution to you, via Paypal. We are trying at the company top level to have them make one.
Again, thank you for all your effort on this question.
Great theme! I have only one advice to require smile Whenever a guest navigates away from the frontpage, the moove frontpage is gone. Cannot be accessed again. I am trying to find where is the permission in the guest access but so far a month later, didn't find nothing.
Thanks in advance.
@Helder Pereira Problem solved, update your theme.
Hello again, just for the sake of clearing the doubt this is a theme thing, one of the requisites that we had for choosing a new theme would be having a slider. As such, we also installed theme Academi and theme Klass, I just checked and both don't have the issue with the "My courses".
Again, thank you.
I think you misinterpreted my writing. Sometimes writing gives false senses.
First and foremost, I am not demanding anything from you. I'm very thankfull that you made this theme and continue doing it.
If you go read my other comments, has I already said, I don't know PHP well enough, and Moodle is quite complex to someone that doesn't know PHP. Ebven though I tried to understand where the problem his, I even asked you if you could confirm that it might be in a specific function (theme_moove_add_coursesections_to_navigation). Since I never got a answer from you, on my side I think you do not wanted my help, and I resumed to give feedback. As I see it, it's contribution too.
I keep trying to understand where the problem his, if I find a solution I will share, but I asked many times, since I don't know PHP, if you could give directions to where it might be. You never did, I did not stopped. And I will not stop.
But to someone like you, I think it's a simple thing to solve, or maybe not. One thing I think it's obvious, it's somethingn in the theme since the default does not have the problem.
Again, thank you
Helder you are free to help. You can make any contribution and send a Pull Request in GitHub. I Will wait for your solution. Good luck and thank you for your contribution.
Well, I doubt that. Let me explain. I have 3 moodle sites (1 production, one testing and one for experimentation, all share the same configuration except the theme, of course), 2 have the moove theme, one has the standard theme. Both with the move theme have the problem, the other does not have the problem.
But for the sake of this question I went to one of the sites with the moove theme and changed only the theme to the Boost theme. Well, the courses with passed end dates got out of the "My courses", I put the moove theme again and... Voilá! All the courses came back to the "My courses", so I don't think it's a problem in another place.
Again, since you do not take my offer to help, I can only help by giving feedback on the updates you make.
Thank you again.
Helder, sorry, you have another issue. The theme doesn't make any modification about the items in "My Courses", It just displays it in another way, but I will take a look on it.
