Hi Olga, the Data privacy tool is included as standard in Moodle 3.7.2 so no need for you to install a plugin.
hi, I'm using last Moodle version (Moodle 3.7.2+ ), does this plugin works in my platform? thanks!
Hi Alan, are you getting any errors? Can you post the errors that you are encountering?
Hi, I am using Moodle version 3.4.3+ (20180524) and the GDPR toolset will not install. Do you know if these plugins will be updated soon for the current build soon?
@bobby: you need 3.4.3 - go to the other releases page on the moodle download site and upgrade to 3.4.3
Installation Error... [Error] Required Moodle version [2017111303.00]
We are running 3.4.2+ (Build: 20180329)

Hello,
I have installed version 3.5 but have a problem with data requests. After starting cron job, I get
''Adhoc task failed: tool_dataprivacy\task\initiate_data_request_task,Table "tool_dataprivacy_contextlist" not exist
All requests from users have Pre-processing status.
Thank you for any information.
Hi Helen, this is awesome! Thank you so much! I was able to install it!
Hello Michel, here's a link to the documentation: https://docs.moodle.org/en/Installing_plugins
As an alternative to installing the plugin, you may want to upgrade your site to Moodle 3.5 (due for release tomorrow 17 May 2018), in which the data privacy tool is included as standard.
Hi, I'm not an expert in Moodle, but I manage my own Moodle website. I'm trying to implement the "Data privacy" tool. But how do I actually install it? Where within my Moodle folder should I place the files? I was not able to find any documentation on that. I thank you in advance.
Hi,
I get the same error message as Sergio above but my Moodle version is Moodle 3.4.2 (Build: 20180319). Any help would be appreciated highly.
Just wanted to add to my last comment - I didn't have cron turned on, but when I switched it on the Data requests came through to the Data Protection Officer. All working as expected now
Yep, you should update Moodle to 12 April version (or the latest weekly build)
I can install version 2017111308 over 2017111307 because it fail
Requires Moodle 2017111302.05
My Moodle version 3.4.2 (Build: 20180319) 2017111302(?)
How to obtain 12 April moodle core version? Update to 3.4.2+ ?
Hi Dinis,
We released 2 new versions for each major branch (Moodle 3.3 and Moodle 3.4) the first one hides the plugins registry link as it requires a function that is not available until 12 April Moodle core versions. The second commit adds the plugins registry back, requiring 12 April moodle core versions.
