Hello David,
I'm using One Topic format for some time, however after I migrated to Moodle 3.2 I noticed a small problem, it is no longer creating the general forum at zero topic and as a consequence of this process the zero topic is inactive, with no option to enable .
Hello again David.
I've checked moodle status and everything is ok (see attached pic)
I'm using hostgator as host and looking to the adress bar it shows: myDOMAIN/course/format/onetopic/duplicate.php?courseid=5&section=2&sesskey=XXXXXXXXX
and it continue giving me ERROR 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR... please can you help me with this...

Hi Martinez...
I try but I not can replicate problem with "Duplicate a topic". The 500 error is a server error, check the timeout or other server characteristics. So, enable you the depuration in moodle and paste here some displayed message.

Is there any plans when this plugin will be available to Moodle 3.0?
How can I set default tab colors for new courses without going tab by tab?
Hi David,
This is a popular format for our users. We are starting to add community plugins to our 3.0 Instance and we are wondering if you have an estimate on when this will be "certified" for 3.0?
Hi David,
I have been a daily user of Onetopic for severral years, a fan of sorts smile
In the good old days Onetopic INCLUDED section Zero, so the tabs would be atop section 0, which to me was awesome!
When you went to section 1, it would take up the realestate used by section 0. What a space saver it was!
Now you get the tabs bellow section 0 (or main section).
Anything can be done about that?
Many thanks for your terrific course format!
Cheerio smile
I just installed this in 3.0 BETA.
I got this error message (with full debug on)
section_edit_controls() is deprecated, please use section_edit_control_items() instead.
line 278 of /course/format/renderer.php: call to debugging()
line 115 of /course/format/onetopic/renderer.php: call to format_section_renderer_base->section_edit_controls()

Just for your interest.

I am using the onetopic format plugin and found it is useful
I am wondering whether it is possible for me to move the nav tabs to bottom of the course content in mobile / responsive view, and whether it is possible to make the nav tabs floated next to each other rather than capsule stacking tabs (list) in effort to reduce space for the learner to scroll down to find the course content (especially when the course has large number of tabs)?
Of course Mark, it is possible using "Hidden sections are completely invisible" value in "Hidden sections" parameter.

One of our Designers is wondering if the Hide Topic feature can actually make the tab invisible to students. It merely greys out the tab and makes the page inaccessible.
Yes, It is available to Moodle 2.9+
