>>Please register students to the courses. Or please use the auto-registration function.
Students were already registered on the course when I installed the autoattendance block and module, but it seems to not be picking them up, even when the cron is ran every five minutes.
"attendance of guest" does not mean anything, we can ignore that part. Help me with the roles, I am quite new and they seem to be the cause of the students not being registered on the Autoattendance block as the only role that has access seems to be the Administrator. Not even the course creator has access to this block, it's really confusing.
Mr Iseki, tell me, from Moodle default settings; the only role that can setup the Autoattendance block is the Administrator role, right ? ....the reason I am asking this is, that I have all the roles in my moodle system and the only one that has access is the Administrator. Is this normal, and how can I solve it ?
>> what do I need to do to populate it?
Please register students to the courses. Or please use the auto-registration function.
Hi,
It is the specification of my attendance block and module.
It takes the attendance of students who exists really.
What does "attendance of guest" mean?
I think that I am meaningless as for it.
The same may be said of "student enrolled".
Please make a test user and add him/her to the course.
Then, please change user to him/her and check attendance.
I think what I am trying to ask here, is how do I add Students of which their attendance will be tracked because the ones already enrolled on the course the Auto attendance block is displayed are not appearing on the reports ? ; the list of "All students" is empty, what do I need to do to populate it?
Furthermore, when I have the autoattendance module installed as well, and I try to have a student access it, it says No Guest access allowed. I totally do not get what could be wrong here. Do you mind lending me a hand here Mr Iseki ?
Hi Mr Iseki, is there a particular setting I need to make for the block reports to display the students ? ...I have students enrolled in a course but I can't see them on the Auto Attendance block reports, it's as though the addon does not work on my localhost site. I am running moodle 2.5.
This block does not support to an event calendar.
There is no need for event calendar function to me.
However, if there's many people smoothly need the function, I will implement the event function. smile
This auto attendance is applicable for events? Those we make in event calendar.
Thanks for sharing this addon block for Attendance smile
Sorry, there is no function which displays the attendance information on all the courses now.
However, I have a plan to make such a module.
I am going to create it by the end in August.
How can i see the student report for whole month attendance for all courses?
Hi German Valero,
Thank you for your quickly work smile
I want to correct the link at the bottom of the block to link to the Moodle book at next release.
Thanks.
Hi,
I think this is a nice block.
I just added the link for the Moodle context help for this block.
When a user installs this block, and they are looking at the block settings, reports, etc page , the link at the bottom of the page, that reads 'Moodle docs for this page' now links to the English documentation page.
The spanish translations of doc pages are finished smile
