Hello,
I'm not sure to understand your problem.
The plugin is an activity that can be added on a course page.
This activity contains a button adding a certification on the linkedin user profile page.
Use the moodle resctrictions to display the button or not.
By clicking on the button, a link to certification page is added on the user's linkedin profile page.

Where does the LinkedIn link appear? When we test a certificate issuance, our cert pops up but there is no "certificate page" to show the student where a link would exist. Clearly we've missed a setting or two...

Hello, I have downloaded and installed the plugin on Moodle but I am not able to customize it for use in a course page. Please can someone guide me on how to customize the certificate plugin?

3.9 version of this plugin is compatible with Moodle 4.0
Issuing organization can be set in plugin settings page (/admin/settings.php?section=modsettinglinkedincert => linkedincert | organizationname parameter)

We had a few questions:
1. Do you know if it will be compatible with 4.0?
2. Is there a way to add the 'Issuing organization'?
3. Is there a way to add an icon/graphic to be populated/linked?
