but is that the api allows 1 single main host for all moodle courses?.
Juan, I believe it is a limitation of zoom API that there can only be one main host per meeting. Once in the meeting the main host can grant anyone else host privileges.
Hello Rex. I need in moodle to configure 2 meeting host for 2 different courses, how do I do this?. Thanks.
Dasu, yes, true, but the code checkers aren't complaining and it is harder to change the database and it isn't worth potential data issues to fix a style problem that wouldn't affect anything.
Hi Rex, According to Moodle coding guidelines, column names in the database should not include underscore. “Column names should be always lowercase, simple and short, following the same rules as for variable names. (https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Database)”.
Hi Rex. Thanks a lot for your previous comment. It's work for me.
Make sure the Moodle user you are using has the same email address as a Zoom user that has the ability to create a meeting.
Hi. Could you help me with configuration this plugin? I installed plugin and filled out api key/secret from the zoom's website. After I try to add activity to the course, I get an error "You are using Zoom for the first time, so you must enable your Zoom account by logging in to {HERE IS MY ZOOM HOME PAGE URL} with your login credentials. Once you've activated your Zoom account, reload this page and continue setting up your meeting." Thanks in advance.
@Miguel, that is correct. You will need to have API access enabled for your account.
Hello Rex, this is the first time I install your plugin and I have some problems to find the api key/secret in the zoom's website. Is what I need in this link: https://zoom.us/developer/api/credential? Thanks in advance!
I can't find download button. I want download plugin.
Hi Rex, Thanks for your reply. Correct term for this is user 'Zpk'. We asked about this from Zoom and they said 'The ZPK is the authentication token used at the end of the start URL. This token is valid for user authentication for 2 hours, and after 2hrs the token will expire.'. Therefore we can't use start URL later.
Albert Leatherman,
1) In that line of code you would do a string replacement to replace https:// to mycustomapp://
2) We make the person who created the meeting in Moodle has the meeting host.
Dasu Gunathunga, strange, we have not had reports of that bug before. We will look into it.
gg sfdf, the meeting link should open into a web browser on the phone and then that launches the Zoom native app.
