Hi Jose,
I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. “Task activities” do not exist in moodle, so you maybe actually mean assignments? Probably a translation issue I assume. Or do you use a custom plugin?
Kindly create an issue in the plugins tracker (see link above), and provide steps to reproduce this issue in English and include the moodle version you use. If it relates to a third party plugin, please provide a link to it.
Thanks
Stefan
Existe un error al visualizar las actividad "tarea" "Not implemented (do not call unless is_applied_to_user_lists is true)". Este problema es visible para el usuario tipo admin y/o profesor. Adjunto imagen en el link https://ibb.co/wYFX77m

I have an issue with this plugin. I'm using Moodle 3.10.3. After successfully uploading the file to the drag file area and click the install plugin button, the Admin page is now shows a list of issue and non-issue system Moodle components. I cannot login to my Moodle as Admin anymore. The issue is that the UNICODE UTF-8 needs to be fix. I'm wondering how did that happen, the after hitting the install plugin. This was not an issue before adding the this "Restriction by section completion" plugin.
Gordon, that’s correct. We will consider this as an improvement for the next version, along with an option to require the previous section to be completed. If you have any other feature requests, please let me know!
Thanks
Stefan
The restriction doesn't seem to work when you have an activity that you don't track, It will still keep the next section locked
I believe the reason is not the course format but because of the activity, which in my case we have a lot of h5p activities. But I'm not sure
Hi, thanks for this great plugin.
I have a question about this restriction, I think it does not work with all activities and resources, because if I restrict access to a complete section at the end of a previous section, if this section contains a forum, a book or a file it does not work, but if you have a questionnaire, yes.
Could it not work with all types of resources and activities or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
In moodle 3.10 it does not work well with the "Edwiser Course Formats".
And there is an error when we try to use this condition in Task type activities. When saving the configuration.
Although it is still recorded in the activity.

Quick Update: After a bit of research, it seems that this is a known issue of core moodle. See this tracker issue: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-57790. We'll continue to investigate.
Yes, Stefan...the same issue as stephen.
Hi Bruno, great idea! Added to the roadmap for the next release! Thanks!!
Hi “the web side”,
Can you please explain what you mean? Is it the same issue that Stephen has?
Hi Stephen, I am not sure what you mean exactly. Can you please explain? Feel free to contact me directly (discussions here are not very convenient) at chat.bdecent.de
I knew it was too good to be true. What this plugin gives you with one hand (Section Completion) it takes away with the other (limits both Outline report & & Complete Report to just the 1st module). This makes it practically useless, as I use those reports to grade all my students. Now I'm completely screwed as have used it on all my courses and they have already started. Gutted.
Thanks Stefan, really like the plugin. One thing I've noticed though is that the the Reports section of the User Profile the Outline Report and the Complete Report only show detail from the first Module. In my course, there are 5 modules, so there is missing detail for 4 other modules. Do you have any suggestion how to fix this?
Thanks.
