Gateway Payments activity module

When can we expect to see a version of this plugin for Moodle 4.1 and later?

I'd like to ask if possible. Moodle has courses. Courses have Sections. Sections can be locked if last activity is not marked as done. Activities can be marked as done either manually, or automatically, depending on the widget/ plugin/ activity module of Moodle. Here is what I need:
I need to add section(s) in my Moodle course for Stripe payments. And when a payment is successful, then the activity to be automatically marked as DONE, and this to allow the student to gain access to the next Section in their Moodle Course.
Is this technically possible?

Hi again Rogier. I noticed that it's working properly with 3.11 but not 4.0. I mean I can hide the activity with the restriction of "unless the previous activity ..." in 3.11 but it's always visible in 4.0.

Hi Rogier. Thank you for your response. Yes, actually that's a need because all students shouldn't see the payment activity unless they accept to continue with payment. For example, I would like to create a choice activity to ask them if they want to continue with the payment to take the exam. If it is YES, then I'll make the payment activity visible. With default restriction settings, it should work, but it's not. I'm clicking on the eye button next to the restriction rule to make it hidden unless the previous activity is completed, but it's not working. Is there any update from your side? Thank you.

@Aziz, there's not muc you can do at this moment because it is intended behaviour.
However, I've internally made an issue to resolve this but it needs a little more investigating. Fact is that your issue/requirement has never been taken into account.

Hi. I'm trying to restrict the payment activity by hiding it unless the previous activity is completed but it always appears on the course page. Moodle 4.0.5. What should I do?
