Components for Learning (C4L)

OK, I finally figured out. After installed the plugin, one has to go to Site Admin -> Plugin --> Text Editor --> Manage Text Editor, then make sure of adjust those editors' order. TinyMCE has to be the first one for all C4L buttons to show up.

I installed this plugin, making sure those default boxes are checked under Site Administration --> Plugin --> TinyMCE. However, none of the buttons show up on my TimyMCE editor?? I'm using Moodle 4.1. Anybody can guide me a litte

Thank you for the update and the review We'll certainly consider your suggestion; however, that would not be at the top of the plugin roadmap right now, as it is more focused on semantics than styling. On the other side, TinyMCE6 has just landed on Moodle, so there are not plenty of plugins yet, but I'm confident that a plugin that allows the styling changes you suggested will be available soon -maybe it is already.

Thanks for your work. The only thing I think is missing would be to change the font and its size to have more alternative, working in 4.1.1 so far without news.

Thanks, Synnac! This plugin is aimed at the TinyMCE 6 implementation, which has been only recently introduced in Moodle 4.1.
If you wish to use the plugin in earlier versions of Moodle you have two options:
- Using the Atto plugin: https://moodle.org/plugins/atto_c4l.
- Using a nice TinyMCE 3 plugin version developed by a project contributor and submitted to Moodle some months ago. Somehow this has not yet been reviewed by Moodle but the plugin is open and available for download in the following GitHub repository: https://github.com/Emanuel80/moodle-tinymce_c4l.
