Hi John,
I played around with your very beautiful theme cover and I really like it especially the lot of deeply interisting visual effects.
I think changing lines 129/130 of menu.css from
.yui3-menu-content li:first-child, .yui3-menu-content li.firstmenu {display: none !important;}
to
.yui3-menu-content li.firstmenu {display: none !important;}
might fix this "first-child-missing" issue. It worked for me anyway.

I see. I think it is because it expects a link for all items. Best UI practices would call for links in all menu items anyway.

Here is how fixed the theme settings - without the - and -- blanks, the first entry would be missing when the header was maximized.

Odd- I'm not seeing that. What are your menu items like? Send me the URL if you have a chance and I'll take a look.

Nevermind - problem solved - I added a "-" as the first entry in every custom menu link. Not sure if it is the proper way to fix it, but it works.

I have it installed on moodle 2.2 - looks great, but when I minimize the header, some of the custom menu is missing.
