Hello, Can I check if this will be upgraded for Moodle 4.0 when that's released next week? Many thanks.
@Paul, I think this report is just very slow when courses get very big.
This plugin just does one course at a time.
Is it possible to change dates across courses? For example, I have multiple courses, say, Math, Reading, Writing, etc. I have sections in each, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, etc. I tag each assignment or quiz or activity with Day 1, Day 2, etc. I am hoping to find some way to choose the tag "Day 1" and edit all activity dates across courses with the tag "Day 1". I homeschool my children, and this is why I do things this way.
We're noticing a lot of our courses get the RESULT_CODE_HUNG browser error when attempting to use this plugin. We're on 3.11 and I notice that this isn't technically compatible with 3.11. Are there plans to update it or is there a replacement I should be using to duplicate its functionality?
don't work on course big
Is it possible to update Dates to use with Forums? Right now it only allows the expected completion date which causes a lot of confusion. Thanks!
Well, it will let you alter the main activity date, but that won't change the overrides that have been set up.
Does this plugin work for dates for activites with group overrides? Thank you.
I installed this yesterday (I am a Moodle Noob) and like it so far. I would like to suggest some modifications/additions.
1) Add a button for "Cut-off date", maybe call it "Same as Due Date", so we don't have to pull down so many menus.
2) Add a button for "Allow submissions from", maybe call it "Same as Course Start", so again, we don't have to pull down so many menus. I frequently allow submissions from the first day of class for all of my assignments. That way a student can progress through the course as fast as they like.
3) Maybe allow users to enter a date in a single text-box (I know that users might enter wrong format, but validate it). When I copy a course for a new semester and I have over 30 assignments, there are a LOT of pull downs to work with to adjust the dates for the new semester.
OK Tim, thanks for letting me know... that's above my level of knowledge unfortunately
This plugin needs supprt added for each different type of activity. It is just one short PHP file: https://github.com/moodleou/moodle-report_editdates/tree/master/mod, but someone would need to do that for Collaborate Ultra.
I got this plugin installed to our Moodle yesterday. I noticed you cannot edit the dates for Collaborate Ultra sessions, which was the main reason for me installing it. Is this a known thing, or is there some other issue I need to overcome for this to work?
That is great, thanks so much! We'll keep an eye out.
