Ah! So, it used to be the case that if there were more than 20 activities in the course, then the 'All activities' option was not avialable.
However, that logic was unintentionally removed as part of this change: the https://github.com/moodleou/moodle-report_editdates/commit/9ed935daf24561de3f080c9773c1933be6751307#diff-828e0013b8f3bc1bb22b4f57172b019dL78 sad
I made an issue for it. I will fix it when I have time, but don't know when that will be.
That drop-down is there and works well, but it defaults to "All activities" upon page load. You can't change it until after the page has mostly loaded.
There should be a drop-down at the top of the report where you select which type of activity you wnat to see. I wonder why that is not working?
Hello Tim and Dates Report friends! Similar to John Velis' post from Mon, Aug 20, 2018, 7:31 AM, we are experiencing long load times because the report is loading all modules, including things like labels. Large courses can take 3+ minutes to load the Dates Report. Is there anything we can do to modify which module types are loaded, or otherwise improve loading performance? We adore the plugin.
Have you been to admin notifications? (Plugins don't show up if they are in a state where they are half way through being upgraded.) That is the only thing I can think of right now.
Hi fans of the Dates Report. We cannot for the life of us get the Dates Report to show in our Admin blocks on Moodle 3.8.3. It is installed, but does not show. Anyone have any ideas? https://www.dropbox.com/s/cl16eavabupgwse/Screenshot%202020-07-28%2016.28.20.png?dl=0
Will this plugin include an update to change due dates and cut off dates?
Is this plugin available for 3.7?
Hello guys,
1. Is there any way to also display the "Extra Restrictions in Attempts - Required Password"
2. It would also be possible to assign by an "input" the date of an activity for all (apply for all)
Thank you very much
This is a great tool.
I just posted about an (apparent) bug whereby the calendar system is not updating to show new dates that get entered via the Dates Report Plugin, but do update correctly if I then directly access the already-updated activity and simply save it again.
Tim, as with everybody else, we really appreciate this functionality. I noticed on our update that the page now is loading dates for all Activity Types including Labels which it is really slowing down the load time, sometimes timing out. Is there a setting to limit the Activity Types that are loaded?
I finally got around to pushing a version of this plugin that works with recent Moodles. Sorry it took so long.
Each different activity that is supported needs its own code to do the right thing for that activity (in https://github.com/moodleou/moodle-report_editdates/tree/master/mod). I don't think anyone has implemented choicegroup support yet.
It is a very useful tool! However, it does not seem to work with "choicegroup" activity.
Hi, any news on a Moodle V3.5 update?
