Will this plugin work with 3.9 if I download it and install it that way?
Also, does this filter by groups to which the student is assigned?
Yes! I just updated the code and works in Moodle 3.0 - 3.3!
Will there be a version for moodle 3.3?
I will have a look asap
I hope you can upgrade this block for version 3.1. It was my basics.
Hey,
Unfortunately this block supports currently only in-course usage. I have not tested it on dashboard. Currently i'm busy with other projects and cannot tell when i have the time to have a look at this.
Best,
Tõnis
Hi Tōnis,
This plugin is really useful !
After using it in a course with success, I'm now looking for a way to show the latest posts from several forums, in the user's dashboard. But when I add a forum aggregator block to the dashboard, no forums are available for selection. I guess it's because the dashboard is outside a course, but maybe I missed something ?
Anyway, is there a possibility to use forum aggregator from the dashboard ?
Thank you,
Greetings,
Mathias
Hey!
This module works just fine in Moodle 3.0!
Hi, I will do this asap.
Hi Tonis, Are there any plans to upgrade this plugin to Moodle version 3.0?
Thanks, Mark Chaney
Hey, This requires quite a lot of changes in the code. It sounds specific, so i guess you will have to do the changes yourself or find a programmer. I'm unable to assist you with this.
Thanks for the great plugin! I would like to use the plugin as alternative news-block, coupled to a forum on system level or in a specific course. In this, people can see different categories of news and can respond to news items. Would this be possible? If so, how much work would it be to change it?
Yes it is, but that will require changes to the code. These changes are relatively easy to do, but i guess you will have to do it yourself or let someone else do the changes.
Hi,
Thank you for this plugin.
When I deliver online training, I like to have a block with "all latest post". But I'm looking for a way to display latest posts in a simply block :
- without the title of the different forum,
- with all forum's posts mixed in the block.
Is it possible to re-use this plugin to do that ?
Best regards.
It looks you have a problem with your Moodle server setup. Do you have enough Memory for Moodle? What Moodle version are you using?
