Course Activity Icons

How to use it

1. Enter any course where you have editing permissions.
2. In the course navigation menu, click on "Customize activity icons".
3. You will see the list of course activities. Click on "Change icon" for the one you want to modify.
4. Upload your file (SVG, PNG, JPG, or GIF) and save. That’s it!

Pro Tip for Images

While the images do not strictly need to be square (the plugin uses smart scaling to prevent distortion), using a 1:1 square ratio is highly recommended. This ensures the icon perfectly fills the circular or square containers without leaving empty gaps.

• Default Icons: Set a default icon for an entire activity type (e.g., all Assignments or Quizzes) in one click. Individual icons can still overwrite defaults.
