CoIFish Longitudinal Profile

CoIFish Longitudinal Profile is a Moodle reporting plugin that builds longitudinal, cross-course student profiles for early-warning and intervention work. A daily scheduled task aggregates per-course snapshots — engagement, social presence, self-regulation, feedback review, grade trajectory, and intervention response – into a multi-course profile that classifies each student as low, moderate, or high risk and surfaces specific risk factors (mid-semester engagement decline, social isolation, feedback neglect, declining grades, unresponsive to interventions).

Programme coordinators get an institution-wide Student Risk Overview filterable by category, cohort, risk level, and current-enrolment status, plus a per-student drill-down that shows the longitudinal profile, prescriptive recommendations grounded in the Community of Inquiry framework, a Current Enrolments card for in-progress courses, and a Course History of completed terms – both with one-click drill-down links to the underlying gradereport_coifish report.

A parallel Lecturer Profile aggregates teaching activity (feedback quality, grading turnaround, forum engagement, intervention effectiveness, estimated time-on-task) for self-review and coordinator oversight, and a CSV export covers lecturer time commitments per date range. Privacy controls let admins choose how much detail course teachers see, with full Moodle privacy-API support for export and deletion.

Designed for institutions that need to spot at-risk students before the current term's data is in, and to keep the same view honest as enrolments change.
