I was also looking for a mind map that the participants could use individually - has anyone seen this?
I'm not a mac user, so i cant give any hints. I suggest you try to google, i'm sure mac has something equivalent to PC-s Insert button.
I am trying to find how to add a new node using a mac keyboard - this doesn't have an insert key so what do I use?
If you are using Moodle 2.6 and below then please download the older version(2014051300) of this plugin. The latest version(2014060900) will only work with Moodle 2.7 and up. Sorry for the trouble.
I think you should clear caches, this notice should go away then. Also i recommend you to update the module to the latest!
Thank you for reporting, i will fix this asap.
I am using moodle 2.6 and getting an error with the $string['modulename_help'] when I tried to install this plugin.
Yes ofcourse but it should work as it is in moodle 2.5 too or have you encountered any errors?
Hi Tõnis
do you have any plans to update this to work with Moodle 2.5? If so, any idea on when this would happen?
thanks
Rob
Hi,
I updated the module and changed the language string.
Hi Tönis,
This is a great plugin.
I think it will be even better if you add the following English language string along the lines of:
$string['modulename_help'] = ' Mindmap module allows you to create and save simple mindmaps from within moodle.';
The modulename_help string is the explanation a teacher gets when he chooses to add an activity by way of the activity chooser in Moodle 2.3 upwards. Most Moodle core plugins and many addons already have such a string.
I hope you can add this new english language string.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Are you upgrading from Moodle 1.9? Which was the previous version of mindmap in your system?
Could you help me
I have updated the mindmap module and I can't upgrade it. Instead appears a message like (Field "course" already exists) and (Debug info:
Error code: ddlfieldalreadyexists)
What should I do?
Hi Isabelle!
You have to tick the Editable box, so that students can edit the mindmap. I will fix the language string in the next update to be more clearer.
Is it necessay to change a setting to allow students to edit the mindmap? Something with editing embedded code?
