Privacy information: Smart Search creates a searchable index of Moodle content metadata such as course names, activity names, category names, user display names, and selected administration/settings page titles. The plugin may also store anonymous search analytics when analytics is enabled. The plugin does not store passwords or sensitive authentication data. User search results and quick actions respect Moodle capabilities and permissions. Analytics can be disabled by the site administrator, and analytics retention can be configured in the plugin settings. The plugin implements Moodle's Privacy API for metadata, export, and deletion support.
