We are in the process of upgrading our Moodle to version 3.5 and we were wondering when the Flexible Sections plugin will be compatible with 3.5+? Plug-in is working very well for us on our current version of 3.2. Thank you.
I would like to use the flexible format together with the Adaptable theme. While it works, the visual (css) does not look as good as the topic format (or the flexible format over boost theme).
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what should I modify to have "the same effect"?
The biggest issue is that sections and subsections are not been displayed separetedly, with bound boxes, white spaces or any enclosures.
Hello, I have a problem, when trying to add subsection, it adds section instead, and when I try to move it, I get white screen with message in the corner: Error in sections hierarchy. Can someone please help?
Hello,
new version 3.2.2 is released with smaller whitespaces, more friendly for mobile devices. I also marked compatibility with 3.4, nothing really changed in the API
If you notice any issues with the course format please report on https://github.com/marinaglancy/moodle-format_flexsections/issues
Thanks
Hello,
A number of people here have mentioned that they would like to see the Flexible sections format work on the Moodle Mobile app. It seems that the development team is considering this and have opened an issue in the tracker (MOBILE-1551). You might want to cast a vote to help ensure that support for course formats remains a priority.
Hello Marina:
Flexible sections work fine for Web but in moodle mobile all courses using flexsections becomes unavailable. Can you please tell us how we can fix this issue?
Hi,
I've installed it on Moodle 3.3.2+ (Build: 20170915) . However, I cannot find the option to "add a subsection below the "add an activity or resource". Could you help me please?
By the way, the pluguin version I've installed is 3.2.1 and it is enabled.
Thanks in advance,
Francis
hm, this is not the section name , there is the course name missing?
Hi Marina,
in the main section of my course the section name is not displayed. Is there any CSS fault? flexible_sections_header_sz
ok, sometimes i am realy blind.... i tried to drag n drop the section to move it upwards, but all i have to do is to klick on "move" and then i can choose where to move it smile
Hi,
great plugin! I have a course with five sections and am trying to move one section to change the order (section 5 should be section 1), but it is not possible. there is a dragn drop symbol which name is "move" but it is not working. any suggestions?
Hi Marina, we just released a course using the flexible sections format. Thank you for providing this. It is great! I checked with the developers of the Moodle app, and thay say that they will not support this since it is a "non standard" format, however - developers can add mobile support as another plugin: through https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_Mobile_Remote_add-ons
Have you considered this? Having app support would be awesome! /Best Henrik
All of the sections where we have used flexsections becomes unavailable on mobile. What can be the issue?
