Hi Russell, I am VERY interested in this plugin but our host says it is too outdated. Do you plan to update this plugin or know of what that is similar that is available?
This plugin provides exactly what our disabilities office is looking for.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Russell, I'm a teacher who has the problem with accessing the list of the uploaded assignments without reasons. I reported the problem to the technical administrators at school, but they can't solve the problem. Is it likely to solve the problem by installing this plugin in moodle v2.9? Thanks.
Hi Chris, the instructions are here http://docs.moodle.org/25/en/Assignment_files_report
and how can i install it?
Hi Russell, thanks for working through the issues Anthony mentioned. Looks to me like you get everything, the url is the one to where we can create new issues so /issues for github works. The screenshot really helps smile.
Thanks for the comments Anthony smile This is my first attempt at uploading to Moodle. Think I've completed everything? Although should the bug tracker be https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-37691 or https://github.com/RussellEngland/moodle-report_assignment_files/issues?
p.s. - The Moodle Tracker issue that prompted this plugin is https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-37691
Russell - I see that this is related to a Moodle Tracker feature request. Thanks for providing a patch for that issue and adding it here in Moodle plugins as well. I noticed that a particular version of Moodle was not tagged for zip file. Has this been tested for 2.4 and 2.5? If you could tag the Moodle versions that the zip file is intended for and then I can give it a quick test. For the source control URL, I would recommend that you rename the Github repository to follow the Moodle naming convention of moodle-{plugintype}_{pluginname} so for this plugin that would be moodle-report_assignment_files. For bug tracker, this is usually the Github.com issues page or a component in the Moodle Tracker so that folks can create issues related to this plugin. I have installed and tested the plugin on Moodle 2.5 It would be good if we could create a documentation page (perhaps on Moodle Docs). There are some possible suggestions about doing that at http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Guidelines_for_contributed_code. Even though the report is pretty self explanatory, a screenshot would also be helpful so that folks could get an idea of what the report looks like. Thanks for your attention to these small details. Once we get them taken care of we should be able to get this approved pretty quickly. Please do not hesitate to let me know if there is anything I can do to be supportive of your efforts. Peace - Anthony
