Bonjour Christine.
Yes, you can group people together using course groups in the free version.
Hi Marwa, yes, you can organise students in teams and see the ranking within the teams, and of each team. Competitiveness can lead to increased motivation, but we recommend that you implement it and see how your students respond to those, especially those who end-up lower in the rankings.
Mercii
Hi Luis, I'm afraid not. Events are observed as they occur, and thus they cannot be combined together. A workaround to this would be to use the "Restrict access" features of Moodle to hide an activity until the others have been completed, and then to award points for completing this activity. The latter would only serve the purpose of receiving the points, e.g. a Page activity with a congratulations message, that is completed when viewed.
Hi Frederic, i have a question. Is it possibly that i create an rule than have two or more activity is necessary completed for grate points. For example the user is necessary that view two PDF.
Hi Mami, that's great news, thank you for the update!
Hi Frédéric ,
I would like to report that I have solved the problem.
I found that the gears are just hidden (I don't know why), I can find the URL for the block operation in the source code and click on it to operate it. Thank you very much.
Hi Frédéric ,
Thanks for your comment. I'm going to try different challenges.
Hi Mami, we cannot thinkg of any reason why. Level up! is not doing anything different to other blocks. Perhaps this issue is related to your theme.
Hi Frédéric ,
Thanks for the quick reply!
I am the Moodle Administrator on this moodle.
I have checked the permissions and they are fine.
All the other blocks on a problematic course has geared, only LevelUp block is not.
Why is that?
Mami
Hi Mami, this is probably because a permission issue within Moodle. Please check your permissions within the problematic courses with your Moodle administrator.
