In the checkmark activity, students announce in advance which of the given examples or tasks they have prepared for a classroom unit and can present if necessary. Teachers can assess students in the activity based on their ticks as well as on the actual presentation and also record attendance/absence.

For the records: A link to the change log ('Change log URL') can be found in the Version Information of each plugin version, e.g. https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_checkmark/v3.11.5/27091. But we will probably replace the README, which is currently saved as a version's 'Release Notes', with the change log in the future.
