Hi Alessandro, we just released a new version 9.5.1 (2026070301) containing a fix for this. Kind regards, Bernhard from Wunderbyte
Hi David, a red band appears with this text.: Eccezione - Class "local_shopping_cart\context_helper" not found. After installing the plugin, the text disappears
Hi Alessandro, could you send the exact error you get so we can fix this? Shopping Cart should NOT be mandatory to install Booking.
Hi David,
I updated the Booking plugin to the latest version on a Moodle 5.1 installation. I'm getting an error related to the Shipping.Card add-on plugin: is it mandatory to install it in this new version?
Thank you so much for your support.
Hi Alessandro. The version on github 9.3.6 should already be compatible with Moodle 5.2. So if you want to test that version on your testing instance, that should work fine. For the official release on moodle.org we expect that one approximately within two weeks.
Hi David, could you please tell me when the version compatible with Moodle 5.2 will be released?
Hi Christopher, thank you for your question. Indeed that is possible and can be done via configuration. For details get in touch with us: info at wunderbyte.at
Good afternoon, I am looking at using this plug-in to track several hundred in-person workshops per year. Would you please tell me what the capacity is for the number of workshops this plugin can handle in one year and at one time? Also each geographic region that will be hosting workshops will have their own Stripe account to collect user registrations. Is there a way to link specific workshops to specific Stripe accounts? Knowing the answers to these questions will really help me to identify if this is the right plugin for our needs. Thank you!
Hi Hiroko, please have a look at how Booking Rules work: https://showroom.wunderbyte.at/course/view.php?id=70 and make sure to turn off legacy mail templates (last setting of the Booking plugin config settings). We will remove the old way reminders and notification worked completely in one of the next booking versions, so make sure to make the switch to Booking Rules which are much more flexible and can be adjusted to almost any need.
Hello mod_booking Team,
We have installed the booking plugin (v9.1.2) on our Moodle 5.1.1(2026 version) system. We’ve successfully created an instance and added booking options.
However, we are unable to find the settings for Automated Notifications and Reminders. This feature was working correctly in the previous version (v8.10.1) on our old moodle 4.5.2(2025 version) system.
Could you please confirm if this feature is supported in the new version (v9.1.2)? If so, could you guide us to where the settings are located?
Best regards
Hiroko
HI Alessandro, thank you for your requests. Unfortunately I can not reply in depth concerning the usage of the booking plugin. It is a very complex tool and we are working on improving the documentation. If you do not find the answer in the documentation under this link https://showroom.wunderbyte.at/mod/book/view.php?id=934 we also offer support packages for in depth configuration of the booking plugin. Just write us an email at the info at wunderbyte at address if you need a support package.
Kind regards
David
Good morning. I've configured the certificate to be sent when the user is marked as completed. I've also written a rule that notifies the user when the certificate is available. In addition to this email, another similar email is sent that I don't know how to disable.
Good morning, David, thanks for your reply. I need to configure the HTML attendance sheet. I'll also need to add other fields, such as the user's custom field. Is it possible to have a complete list of placeholders that can be used? Thanks and congratulations on the excellent work.
Hi Alessandro, it is already released: https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_booking/versions
Kind regards,
David
