Hi everyone,
I am writing to congratulate you on this theme so nice, very good job.
In addition I am having a problem after installing it , the UTF -8 encoding of the Moodle platform works perfect , but the accents and " ñ" do not appear in the texts. It appears to me "?"
that appears => "Bloques de pie de pgina".
I test with another theme and works fine, but I want use your theme, please give me a solution.
Thanks
Good morning,
please how to change the size slider?
Hello,
Could you please provide tips or instructions on how to make the logo file appear larger? I have tried multiple times to upload an image file, but the theme keeps re-sizing it down to a much smaller version of itself. The funny thing is that it only happens on a horizontal image file (width larger than height). With a square image file, it keeps it larger and does not shrink it down. Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
HI,
I need add page customizing the link about us. Thank you. luis
Hi Nephzat Technologies. Thanks for the reply. I got the theme from moodle.org and I keep getting the same. Where do I find the issue date? https://bitbucket.org/ perhaps?
Can someone help me with slider ? How do you open link in a new tab ?
Does anybody know how I add/change the images for Promoted Courses?
My marketing spots doesn't show Icons and unclickable after I change theme color.. Please help
Nima, you can do that menu but it's a custom thing akin to modifying the theme itself with your custom links. The process of modifying themes is potentially a very large issue since there are so many little things you must do, but essentially you can override the theme by creating a theme of your own and inheriting all the settings and code from the Eguru theme, providing your changes in the file that contains that header. I've explored this route in our customization of the Eguru theme but I haven't modified the main header menu so I can't give you any help there. Please see the links I shared above your reply to Moustapha for how to get started with modifying themes.
Thanks Perry
but as you can see we have 2 menus
I mean top menu====> Home I Course I log in
Moustapha, to modify any theme, you can start here: https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Themes
There are some other useful links too, which I have stored in my Themes development folder links:
https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Themes_overview
https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Creating_a_custom_theme
Additionally there are some videos on Youtube which I remember watching that demonstrate the basics to theme modifications, I just don't have them saved in my links folder.
Nima, the menu can be adjusted by going to the menu path: Home / Site administration / Appearance / Themes / Theme settings
This is the same settings that will control any theme's header menu so that's why it shows up in that menu path rather than the menu path strictly for Eguru.
How can change header menu???
My University has adopted the eGuru Theme for our online learning portal. I am having difficulties finding tutorial or documentation necessary to customize the theme. Anybody has some resources to share?
How can a link be added to the Marketing Spots on the homepage to redirect the users to a different URL?
