Hi -
I posted my issue on the h5p.org/forum site that you mentioned. My post can be found here: https://h5p.org/node/1082873
I will try to post on the Github site as well.
Texts for buttons can be translated directly in the authoring tool. If there's a specific button that you are not able to translate please post a detailed bug report to the h5p.org forums: https://h5p.org/forum
Hi Mag, where did you post this ? You could also try to create an issue in the github repository for the Moodle plugin: https://github.com/h5p/moodle-mod_hvp/issues. Maybe someone will find the time to investigate and find a fix for it. If you have developer resources feel free to submit a pull request in the same github repository.
hi, may i ask .. how to translate the button for quiz ? i've tried this ways but it doesnt require the language that i want to use.

Hey Thomas -
I posted in the forum you provided 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do here? I have been rigorously testing and can find no consistencies with Interactive Video quiz grades recording to the Moodle gradebook. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's been very challenging getting the 200+ users enrolled in this course with completion. The messaging has also been very difficult. Please help!
Hi MAG,
Please file a support request at https://h5p.org/forum with as detailed information (steps to reproduce, versions and logs) as possible so we can reproduce this. Also make sure you have the latest version of Interactive Video.
Hi MAG/H5P
Yes, we're getting similar issues too. Just upgraded a site from 3.5 which was running fine to 3.9 where we're now having problems.
We have various H5P activities in our courses (embedded using stealth mode) and it seems that completion of these is very random. We sometimes think it's our delegates not 'finishing' correctly but when we log in as them and try it ourselves, we get the same problems. The activities are usually Question Set or MCQ. Can't account for Interactive Video.
It would be a huge undertaking to export from this plugin to the new core Moodle one. Before we upgraded we tested and all worked fine, but then you can't account for sporadic issues. It's becoming hugely frustrating to our users - and for us - because we don't know what's causing it and therefore we can't fix it.
Anyone else?
Thanks - Dan
Hello -
I have recently been having an issue with H5P Interactive Video. My Moodle version is 3.9.1, and my H5P plugin version is 1.21.0.
I have 10 quiz questions in my Interactive Video. At the end of the video (after all questions have been answered). Users arrive to the star icon and are able to submit their 10 answers. When the answers are submitted sometimes the grade gets recorded to the Moodle grade book and sometimes it doesn't.
I have tested submitting the answers numerous times. I can't find any consistencies. Literally sometimes the grade gets recorded and sometimes it doesn't. When the grade doesn't get recorded the course does not log completion. Its become a big problem with the 200 students I have in this course. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?
Hi Casper,
Are you using the Moodle Core version of H5P or are you using this plugin ? Moodle have forked the plugin to put it in Core, and we can't account for the features they choose to make available there. If you want the possibility to add these features, make sure you're using the plugin as provided on this page.
Hi Thomas, thanks as I said we don't have that setting in our version of Moodle. Reason i'm asking here is it seems like a Moodle specific difference/issue. Can ask over there too but wondered if anyone else was using same version or came across the same issue and could advise.
Hi Casper,
You can download "Questionnaire" from https://h5p.org/questionnaire and upload it to your site or download the "Interactive Video" example from https://h5p.org/interactive-video which includes the "Free text question" content type. For these to show up you will have to enable the "Enable LRS dependent content types" option in your "H5P Settings". In order to find this setting in Moodle, you can go to "site administration" -> "plugins" -> "H5P" -> "H5P Settings", here you should find a checkbox saying "Enable LRS dependent content types", which must be checked for these content types to show up. If you need more support, please go to the H5P forums which are better suited for support requests: https://h5p.org/forum
Hi,
We're trying to find/use the 'Free text questions' or other, what i'd say aren't the basic options, for Interactive Video on an H5P on Moodle 3.9 but we don't seem to have the 3 dot/burger menu for 'other' types (seen here https://h5p.org/tutorial-interactive-video#guides-header-7). I found posts and things about LRS but it looks like that option isn't available on Moodle 3.9 or its using Content Bank as a type of LRS? Either way we don't have a setting to 'Enable LRS dependent content types' and can't see how we can access the additional types. We just want to be able to add free text q&a as an activity rather than it have or require true/false/scoring etc. Could anyone help?
Hi Andrea, please open an issue on https://github.com/h5p/moodle-mod_hvp or in the h5p.org forums https://h5p.org/forum, as this comment field is not suitable for support. If you still have the content you should be able to download it individually and then re-upload it to your new site. If you only have the backup, what errors are you getting when trying to import the backup ?
Hi, in 2018 I have prepared some branching scenarios using H5P (beta-version) using the moodle platform available at my University (AulaWeb). Now I would like to use these activities with the students, on a new class. Unofortunately I cannot export the activities (I have tried doing a backup and restoring it in the new class, but the H5P files are not recognized).
The problem is probably related to the fact that in 2018 there was an older version of H5P (black icon), while now the new version available has a blue icon. Is there a way to recover my branching scenarios? (for one of them it took more than one month to design it!)
Thanks
Andrea
Hi Ihab, H5P activities resize automatically to fill available space. If you have any problems with this or want to report a bug, please visit the H5P forums: https://h5p.org/forum
