Only can see Assignment and Quiz under reminder as activity
How to configure for other activities?

Hi there, I installed the plugin, but it doesn't see the calendar events for some reason. I can see the upcoming events in the calendar, but when I proceed to the plugin's settings, it says " No upcoming activities for this course.".
What am I doing wrong?

Great plugin, it really has helped us manage and automate email notifications for course events from Moodle itself. We're facing one little detail though: our courses are often bilingual, which is why we use the Multi-language Content (v2) plugin. However, in the 'Course' field of the notification messages, the course name appears with the language tags, like this:
{mlang other}Strengthening Project Planning and Implementation{mlang}{mlang fr,fr_ca}Renforcer la planification et la mise en œuvre de projets{mlang}
Is there any way we can avoid this, e.g. by customizing the fields that appear in the email notification? Or could you work on compatibility with the multi-lang filter plugin for future releases?

Thank you for this plugin. I love the new features but it is not working for us. Specifically students (and teachers) are getting reminders for assignments they have already turned in and events in the future that are hidden. Can you help me stop the reminders for assignments that have already been submitted?
We are using Moodle Moodle 3.8.4+ (Build: 20200827) and the latest version of Event Reminders.

@Narayan Could you please tell me which plugin and moodle version are you using and the steps to reproduce. If this is an issue can you raise an issue in github https://github.com/isuru89/moodle-reminders-for-calendar-events with steps to reproduce and corresponding versions.

HI There,
An excellent plugin but it sends out the event reminder notifications to the inactive(enrolment suspended and enrolment period finished) students.
The group override dates are also sent to all the students regardless of the group selected.
If the group events could be sent to the students within that group, it would be greatly appreciated. And the support for suspended/not current enrolment would also be great.

@Orestes Mas Yes the plugin will sooner have a release supporting Moodie 3.9

I just upgraded my Moodle site to version 3.9 and I started to receive an e-mail, with each run of the cron script, stating that this plugin triggered a Moodle warning that says "Use of legacy cron is deprecated". As cron script runs very often, these e-mails were flooding my mailbox and I had to uninstall this plugin (temporarily, I hope).
Have you any plans to fix that issue before next september?

How does your plugin fit in to the Moodle settings to block students' ability to turn off notifications? Does it inherit whatever settings are selected for the vanilla notifications?

Thanks for your reply. It's the assignment activity that has this behaviour. Students received due date reminder that are supposed to be sent to another group. The assignment is set up using "seperate group" mode, and different group have "group override" for different due date. I don't think I had any setting on the reminder, it should all be default setting, I just chose the reminder day to 7 and 1 day before the due day. Thanks.

Could you please tell me what kind of event/activity type you are seeing this behaviour and with any reproducible steps. Because group level reminders are working for course activities in my test environment. Maybe I have missed something which you could find out. And I need to know how did you set up the activity (steps) so that I can respond to your request.
