Can I install the same on Moodle 3.8 ?
Will there be any issue in authentication ?
I want this to be clarified before getting an account in Microsoft Azure.
Also, If anyone has any idea of the pricing for this Authentication, please let me know.
Thanks in Advance

That's correct, please check more details in this page https://enovation.ie/moodle-and-microsoft-office-365-integration (videos 1 and 5).
First application is for SSO via auth_oidc and second application is required to complete the deployment to Azure.
Moodle 3.9 version of plugins should be released by the end of this week.

Looking to set up the moodle tab within teams.
While reading the documentation, there's note of creating an azure app for this purpose.
Am i right in assuming this is a separate app to what would be used for the OpenID connect section on the "Setup" tab? The one where we assign to users to allow them to authenticate with Moodle?

We've recently added this plugin to our Moodle installation and have synced successfully with our O365 environment. We're running into a problem whenever we try to sync new courses with Teams. We've had about 2 courses work successfully and the rest have failed. When I go to Teams Sync->Customize group and turn on syncing for a new course, nothing happens. If I go into the course page and click the Course Group link in the Microsoft block, I see this message: "This Office 365 group will be created shortly, please try again later." It never actually gets created, though, even though the cron task is running every few minutes. If I use the "Resync users for groups in courses" option under Maintenance Tools, I'll see an error message like this for the course:
Syncing group membership for course #529
Syncing to group "{"
Could not sync course 529. Reason: Error in API call: Invalid object identifier '{'.
We're using Moodle 3.5 and version 2018051700 of the O365 plugin.
Is this a known problem? The sync has worked in two courses, but we have not figured out why it's not working in all the others. I did confirm that all the users in the problematic courses had connected their Moodle accounts to O365 before attempting the sync.
We would love to have this working consistently as a number of our instructors are asking for it in their classes. Thanks for any help!
Matt

Thanks so much for the quick response! I appreciate it and all of the work you are doing.

Moodle 3.9 code initial stable version will be released in June. We expect to release the compatible versions of the plugins to 3.9 later June or early July maximum.

Thanks for sorting this out!
I know it's really early but I was wondering if you perhaps had an ETA on the Moodle 3.9 version as well? If you don't have a specific date right now, that's okay. But perhaps knowing it takes you 1/2/3/4 months after a Moodle version is released to update and test this plugin, will help me have a rough idea as well.
Thanks again!
Kind regards,
Dillon
I'm on moodle 3.03 and the relative Office plugin
We expect it to be released in no more than 2 weeks time.

Do you perhaps know if there's an estimated time of arrival for when we might get the 3.8 version of this plugin? Would love to know.
Thanks!
