Which Zoom account is necesary to use Moodle Zoom plug-in?
Thanks
Try running`curl --verbose --head --silent "https://zoom.us/" --output /dev/null` directly on the Moodle server. It should provide helpful information about which the IP addresses that you are receiving for zoom.us. It should also let you know which IP addresses it is trying to use to connect. At this moment, the official IP addresses for zoom.us are 2407:30c0:182::aa72:3402 and 170.114.52.2. If your DNS resolvers arenot giving you those values, then there is a problem. It's also possible that there is a firewall in place that is preventing you from connecting.
Hi Ahmad M Alwa - أحمد محمد علوة,
Thank you for opening this issue on our GItHub page. We will plan to improve the error messages so that it is more helpful. By default, your Moodle account's email address needs to match your Zoom account's email address for the connection to work correctly. Also, your individual Zoom account needs to exist within the larger Zoom account that has the Server-to-Server OAuth app.
Iget this message when add zoom activity
No, you must create a new meeting for security reasons.
Hi Hassan Ali,
Please make sure that the plugin has been configured to use the matching account information. By default, the email address of the Zoom account must exactly match the email address in Moodle. And the individual person's Zoom account must be part of the overall Zoom account that is associated with the Marketplace app.
Zoom itself often requires a passcode. Participants in Moodle do not need to input the passcode *if* the passcode is embedded in the the invitation link.
Please go to your personal Settings -> Meeting: https://zoom.us/profile/setting?tab=meeting and then, in the Security subsection, make sure that "Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join" is active/"on".

Thank you so much!
It's is possible to use existing zoom meeting ? instead of creating new one ?
This sounds like an interesting feature request. Zoom doesn't allow any HTML, so I would be interested to see the result you are expecting. However, this is not a good place to discuss it. Please open an Issue on GitHub so that we can have a focused discussion.
We've just released v5.2.3, so you should be ready to go!
Is there any approximate timeframe for the new version with the "get_meeting_recordings task fail" fix?
I don't want to touch the database if the new version is released any day now.
Thank you very much for your work!
