Completion Progress

Does it work with the local Mail plugin or has that been disabled in Moodle 5.2?

I love the plugin. Will there be an upgrade for Moodle 5.2?

@Jenny - This plugin is great at showing student their progress, in the things that they have access to - but as you have identified if there are restricted items, then the percentages may not be what you want. Have a look at the 'Checklist' plugin, as this tracks activity in a similar way - but this picks up all items even ones that the user cannot access. So on some of my the courses I support, I have the completion progress bar for the students, but I also have a checklist activity available for the staff (and sometimes the students as well).

I find this a great plugin, however it does cause some problems.
I like to give it to course coordinators so they can see the progress of people in their group.
BUT there are some conditional activities in some courses, so instead of showing coordinators a percentage complete, it shows a percentage complete of available activities which is not the correct percentage at all.
Is there any way that we could have an option to choose how that percentage is calculated in the settings?

I am using the Completion Progress block in my Moodle courses and first of all, I would like to thank you for your work on this plugin.
Recently, I have encountered an issue specifically related to iOS-based devices (iPhone/iPad).
Several students reported that the progress bar does not update or does not reflect the actual completion status when accessing Moodle from iOS devices.
However, the same users can see the correct progress when they log in from a desktop browser.
I would like to ask:
Is this a known issue related to Safari or the iOS Moodle App?
Is there any general problem with activity completion tracking on iOS?
Are there any ongoing fixes or updates planned for this issue?
Is there anything we can configure on our side (cache settings, browser settings, plugin version, etc.) to avoid this problem?
This feature is very important for our course, especially for students tracking their weekly activities, and I would be grateful for any guidance or updates you can provide.

Hi. I see there is an issue with the completion of a quiz. It doesn't take it as completed when a quiz failed. IT shows it with a yellow color and displays "submitted, not completed". In previous versions, it was accepting a failed quiz as completed and failed with red color.

FYI: I've seen this version is mostly the same published in Github a month ago, and we've been using it on Moodle 4.5 without any issue this last weeks.

The 2025100700 version supports 4.1, 4.4, and 4.5. End-of-life Moodle versions 4.2 and 4.3 are not supported. I will set the additional versions available here once a week or so has passed without any reports of concerns from 5.0 and 5.1 users, or from those people integrating/uploading the plugin manually.

We really like this plugin, however we have some schools who want to see inactive students and other schools who do not want to see them. The current setting is applicable to everyone site-wide. We are getting requests to add a filter to the Overview to show or not show inactive or suspended students. Inactive means the enrolment in this course is inactive and suspended means their user account is suspended on the site. Sometimes schools will still need to see progress for these 'old' students.

If you use the subcourse plugin: https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_subcourse you can then show completion of those courses in the progress bar

Is there a way to make "completion of other courses" show up in this?

Is there anyway to enable Real-time UI updates, without requiring users to do a page refresh?
It's hard for students to see the connection between the course activities and the completion progress bar.

Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with the Completion Progress Block in Moodle. The progress bar colors are missing. When I checked with the developer tools, it seems that css.php?v=4 is not being loaded correctly. I'm using IIS as the server.
Could anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
