Reservation

HI Roberto,
have Moodle version 3.9.1+ (Build: 20200730). The plugin version I have is 2019031908.
It works but cannot delete a reservation. Has this been fixed with the version I have?

I'm sorry but we can't create site events.
Reservations, as any activities, are related to a course so teacher capabilities permit to create only course and user events.

Is it possible to have the events created be visible across the whole site? During all my testing all I can get is for it to show up in the Course only. What am I missing?

I made a simple test with the current release on Moodle 3.9 and it seem to works.

Hi Roberto. My organizzation is plannig to adopt Moodle3.9. Do you have any plan to cover this last release? Do you think actual plugin release will work in lastest Moodle?

I'm working on some issues and new features so I need to close them before publish a new release here.
You can get the last fix release on github. It seems to work on Moodle 3.8.

Very Very sad, we still have Moodle version 3.1 and installation is asking for at least ver 3.4
Have to wait for an upgrade before can use it then.

I've added notification on reservation and cancellation last month.

Hi Roberto,
What is the possibility that once a student books a reservation he receives an acknowledgement that he has been accepted for the booking (confirmation)? Our students find your plugin very useful and with this confirmation they can then apply for the necessary study leave to attend for a session.
Maybe an external trigger plugin that is auto triggered to send an email to student when he books?? or even better (you being good at this) include in your plugin an email receipt on booking??

One question. Whenever one books a reservation he can have the option to leave a note, can the wording "Note" be changed or at least by default in the box I leave some wording for hint ?

sorry but you can't do it with reservation plugin.
I think you can use something like choice group https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_choicegroup.

thank you for this plugin. Just a question: is it possible to split reservation into sub-groups? For example I can fix 100 as a maximum number of reservation, but I'd like students should be organized into little groups of 4.
