[1.1.9] — 2026-06-10 (version 2026061000)

Fixed

• "Email could not be sent" on the Contact Site Support form (hosts without /bin/true) — after delivering via Graph, the plugin suppressed the duplicate SMTP send by calling clearAllRecipients() on any host lacking /bin/true (Windows, minimal containers). That made PHPMailer::preSend() throw "no recipients", so $mail->send() — and therefore email_to_user() — returned false. Most callers ignore that return value, but user/contactsitesupport.php checks it and showed the "could not be sent, use the registered support address" notice (and fired a spurious email_failed event) even though the message was delivered. The duplicate-prevention path now points PHPMailer's sendmail mode at an OS-appropriate no-op (/bin/true/true on Unix, the cmd.exe built-in rem on Windows) and leaves recipients intact, so send() returns true on every platform. New helper local_msgraph_api_mailer_noop_sendmail() in lib.php


• Mustache "Example context JSON is unparsable" prechecker errors — in all three templates (changelog.mustache, email_log.mustache, test_validate.mustache) the @package/@copyright/@license tags followed the Example context (json): block inside the same {{! }} comment. The linter extracts everything after the marker to the end of the docblock and JSON-decodes it, so those trailing tag lines broke parsing. The docblocks were reordered so the example-context JSON is the last element before }} (tags moved above it), matching Moodle core templates. • Mustache docblock format — merged the two separate {{! }} comment blocks (license + @template) into one in all three templates (changelog.mustache, email_log.mustache, test_validate.mustache) to resolve prechecker "Example context JSON is unparsable" errors


• AMD build files rebuilt — amd/build/index.min.js and amd/build/tester.min.js (+ source maps) regenerated from source to clear "uncommitted change detected" prechecker errors

Fixed

• Attachment filename was temp name (tempup_XYZ) — lib.php was using $attach[1] (PHPMailer's basename($path)) instead of $attach[2] (the display name passed to addAttachment)


• Attachment had no extension — MIME type detection now reads magic bytes from the already-loaded in-memory content instead of reopening the temp file (which Moodle may delete between reads). Correct extension is appended automatically for xlsx, docx, pptx, xls, pdf, and other formats


• Uninstall error (Call to undefined function local_msgraph_api_mailer_remove_phpmailer_patch) — db/uninstall.php now require_onces lib.php before calling patch-removal functions; Moodle does not auto-include lib.php before uninstall hooks

• graph_client::format_attachments() renamed internally to split_attachments() returning [$small, $large] to support the two-path send flow
