When will you support Moodle 5.0?

I hope you are well, it's been ages. Student Quiz appears to work on Moodle 5. Could you update the supported extension on your end to Moodle 5 so that it installs automatically each week when we update our Moodle instance? It saves us so much time. Cheers.

Hi @Mélissa De Cristofaro, we are working on releasing a new version, should be out in a few weeks time. It will support both Moodle version 4.5 and 5.0.

It looks like that the new commits from yesterday, June 25th 2025, was for the Moodle version 5.0. Is that right ? Is there an official release for the Moodle 4.5 version? Maybe the commit from March 25, 2025 ?

We using your plugin successfully for a semester, but now have a small problem with the tags when preparing for the new semester.
Moodle 4.1.x; StudentQuiz 5.2.1
also in our Testsystem Moodle 4.5.x StudentQuit 5.3.0
Scenario:
new Course room and therefore empty
Question bank
create new question created with the tags “demo”
If I now filter by tags in the category "top" or "standard", Filter by Tags show “demo” - is correct.
Now I create a new activity StudentQuiz - okay
I select "Create new question", add a question und in the formular under "Tags search" show "demo". However, there are no questions for the StudentQuiz yet - so no tags should be displayed.
Short check in the question bank
Open category "StudentQuiz | Top" and "Filter by tags" is empty - I would expect the same when creating new questions in the study quiz.
So question:
Why are not only the tags of the study quiz category displayed in the student quiz, but all tags of the question collection?

Oh thank you very much! I didn't know about the update, Moodle didn't tell me that there was a new version.

Do you really ahve the latest version of the plugin? There was a new version yesterday, which should have included the fix for this.

I have Moodle 4.3.2 installed, and the latest version of the plug.
But, I get an error when creating a studet quiz: "Excepción - Class "qbank_previewquestion\preview_action_column" not found"

I think the state of play is that the required code chagnes have been developed, and are waiting for me to review. Since I am in the middle of my Christmas holiday, that should happen by mid January.
