Eva, thx for response and tip. It works now. I'll hope developers will update instruction on this point , because it's in my opinion not clear enough now.
Franky, the plugin is now functional on my Moodle. I am using Moodle 2.9 . Simply ensure that you are adding the coupon block on the Front page or home page. If you add it from course pages, you will not find the plugin. You may follow these steps: 1- log into your Moodle site as administrator. 2-If you do not land on the Front page or Home page, under the Navigation Block, click on Site Home. This takes you to the Front page. 3- Enable Block editing and then Add Block. There you will see the COUPON block. It will now appear on your home page. It will show all the links you require to configure and generate coupons. Don't be frustrated. It is a nice plugin and Rogier of Sebsoft has been extremely helpful.
I've installed plugin, but I can't find or configure any coupon wizard. Under add blocks I can't find any plugin 'Coupon'. I've tried several Moodle versions but nothing works. Also installed a earlier version of plugin but same problem. I've read the 'manual' but nothing what can be of any help. It seems a similar issue as the ticket from Eva Kana. A bit frustrating....
It is a nice plugin . I need little assistance to launch the plugin. I have done the Installation and configuration of the plugin. But am unable to locate the link to start generating coupons.
It's a nice plugin. Thanks for your contribution. How can I make this plugin function as enrollment key? This means students can still see a certain course but they can't take a course until they hit Enrol me in this course, a popup appears and students enter coupon code to enrol in and take this course.
Best wishes,
Is there a way to send a welcome email to users who enroll in a course via the coupon block? The ability to send a copy to the site admin would help greatly as well. Thanks!
The Cron tasks are also running for this but no email is being received
Not a clue what I am doing wrong, but after testing this coupon plugin it never sends out any coupons or pdfs? any ideas? is there a specific setting for this in the plugin?
I am using 2.9.1+ and my emailing function works fine in moodle with everything apart from this plugin
New version available (thanks, Frankle!)
In this version (2.7.2 build 2015010107):
* Changed "max coupons" settings to be textual input. No more "hardcoded" 100 coupon limits.
* Added delete option to unused coupons overview
* Added settings and task to automatically clean up unused/unclaimed coupons
Cheers!
How can I delete the unused coupon?
Added the new version. Issue as mentioned by Donna Perygin has been fixed.
Thank you for providing us with feedback. Issue is confirmed and fixed, we will be providing a new plugin update soon!
Cheers,
Rogier
Hi. I really like this plugin in theory. However, my problem is that I want to download the keys into a spreadsheet, but I am getting this error: A required parameter (tab) was missing. I get the same error when I try to move to the next page to view the keys. Therefore, I cannot even copy and paste them into a spreadsheet. I need to do this so I can hand the keys manually to the student for them to type them in. My server does not allow e-mail to be sent. Therefore I do not get an e-mail when I create the keys. Thanks so much!
Thanks for reporting, Marc. Issues as reported have been fixed and tested on Moodle 2.7.2, 2.8.x and 2.9.1
A fix for the "progress reperts view" has also been included.
Please upgrade to new versions smile
The file unused_coupons.php seems to be disappeared as well ...
