Firstly I love this plugin and find it really useful, however may I suggest a possible improvement?
At the moment when a student submits an assignment the block goes from blue to yellow. If the assignment is then graded by the tutor and is deemed not a pass the item turns red (so far so good), however when the student then resubmits their work this item remains red - what would be really good would be if it turned back to yellow, to indicate to the tutor that it needs marking again. Would this be a possible improvement?
Thanks in advance,
Hi, Dan.
It's good to hear from you. I have been trying to keep up with version changes, but I don't watch Git issues or requests and I can see there are a few there. I'll see what I can do over the coming week. (I thought I had the Privacy API sorted.)
Michael
Hi Michael - are you still maintaining this plugin? - there are quite a few pull requests that would be really good if you could merge - 3.5 privacy api class missing (causing unit test failures) - and the other pull requests related to unit tests... We use CI processes for our sites and because your code causes unit test failures we are needing to maintain custom versions of your plugin to support our clients.
Hello. The completion progress block is wonderful.
But I cannot select students with the button select all and I cannot send a mensagem. When I choose this option nothing happens. Can you help me? Thank you in advance.
Hi, Danijel.
Perhaps there has been a change in the completion system. The block hasn't changed.

Hi Michael.
We recently upgraded our Moodle to version 3.5. However, after this upgrade the Completion Progress changed the way it worked. We use this plugin to track students' progress in several self-assessment tests. In previous versions we tracked whether the student completed the test with atleast 75% success (indicated with a GREEN colored block), failed to achieve the minimum 75% (indicated with the RED colored block) or didn't take the test all (indicated with the BLUE colored block).
However, after upgrading Moodle, after the student takes the test and fails it the plugin doesn't indicate it by coloring the block RED. The block that represents the failed self-assessment test remains BLUE. It's like it does not register the attempt at all. Is this a feature that was changed, is it a problem with the new version of Moodle or is there something else that is causing this problem?
Looking forward for you assisstance,
Danijel
Hi Michael,
Great plugin ( I was slow to appreciate it but love it now). I have a situation (feature?? Problem??) with unmarked assignment re-attempts. They show as failed even though the assignment has been resubmitted and not yet marked. Am I missing something?
This occurs with or without the save and submit settings.
Michael, so I see! Somehow I was mistaken about the multiple instances and customizability. John, thanks for the tip, I'll have a look at that plugin.
Samuli- use the Dates report to set all dates from one page! https://moodle.org/plugins/report_editdates
Hi, Samuli.
Yes, you can still have multiple blocks. You can be selective about what activities are included in each block through the block's configuration, but completion is dependent on the activity.

Another feature our teachers are missing from "days of the Progress Bar" is the ability to set all of the criterion from one page UI, now there is a lot of clicking to do.
Thanks for the block, it's very useful. Have you thought of adding a possibility to show different kinds of "progress bars" on one course, like in the predecessor (Progress Bar block)? If I'm not mistaken there is no way of having "levels" of completion? For example, by the topic?
Hi, all.
Yes, I had to take the messaging out when the core messaging system changed and it broke this plugin. If someone more familiar with the new messaging system can propose a parch, that would be appreciated.

Hi Ged
I have the same issue, we can not see the checkbox to select students and send an email to them, like appears in screenshots.
We had test itt in moodle 3.1 and Moodle 3.5 with the same result. We don't know how to fix it or if there is any configuration option that we have to modify.
Regards
Miguel
Hi,
When using the old progress bar, the option to "check" students and e-mail them was present, just like screenshots in the description. We are now using completion progress and the checkboxes and dropdown list with the option to e-mail students does not appear. Has anyone else found this? This is a really useful feature, any information on how to solve this would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Ged
